Guest Coffey Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Why the change? I liked being able to see where people were from, even if a lot of people didn't fill it in or lied. The member number thing is ok, but really, how many people care about that? What if they made a new username?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Didn't notice Member Number being added -- time to see where I land. EDIT: 225...
Slayer Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Hasn't it always been Member Number? That's what I thought too Cause one of the first things I noticed when I came here was El Satanico's number
Fökai Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Why the change? I liked being able to see where people were from, even if a lot of people didn't fill it in or lied. That statistic has been there since the creation of the board - location hasn't.
Guest Eyeball Kid Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 It's always been there. My other account is 1984.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I never noticed a location before, but I've always known I was #47
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Eyeball won't even speak the name of his other account...I must have really outdone myself. He hasn't really spoken to me since.
Jingus Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I'm number... ::looks at this post, then EDITS:: ... 60. Wow. Didn't know I was THAT established(~!).
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 I wonder what I am... 1656. I've been around longer than most of the "Established" posters. Ha
Lil' Bitch Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 I too would like the return of Location. Edit: #3748?!! Fucking shit...
DerangedHermit Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 I don't remember Location, although it would be a good idea... #1155 bleh.
Mik Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 What is this all about? I've never had location and always had member number. How is it different for other people?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 2411 is actually close to my extension at work. That's pretty crazy.
Guest Eyeball Kid Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 2411 is actually close to my extension at work. That's pretty crazy. I'm so gonna stalk you now.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 ::giggles:: Eh, somehow it's less funny than it used to be.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 We've never had location instead of member# before, so where did this claptrap come from?
Styles Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 'Tis always been there. 26. It's good to know that I'd just be left off if a list of the top 25 members to join the board was created...
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 I think that now it maybe should be changed to location, even if people do kid around when filling it in. And to think of what it would've done for El Satanico's gimmick if he'd been Member No. 666...
AlwaysPissedOff Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 As someone who knows Satanico a bit better than anyone else here, I would say it wouldn't matter.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 2411 is actually close to my extension at work. That's pretty crazy. I'm so gonna stalk you now. I could use the excitement, really.
Guest Coffey Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Hmm, I must be mistaken then. I guess I just got the location in my control panel confused with the stats under my avatar. Either that or I got TSM confused with another message forum. Another gripe I have it that we have too many topics in the WWE folder that are "stickied." Seriously, do we need that shit to stay at the top? The Raw thread will bump itself. The other topics are stupid shit.
Guest Loss Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 The topics are pinned to avoid questions being repeated and streamline some of the traffic. I might merge some of them because I agree that there are too many, but none of them are unnecessary.
Guest Coffey Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 That would work. Like one thread that says "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" and it's just everyone condensed into one thread...including the forum rules.
