Guest Museite Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 What do u mean by seriously...as in play properly? in a proper organisation/scheme/league? If so then Rugby. Everything else I've played in the last few years includes football (soccer), badminton, hockey, basketball, volleyball & the usual stuff
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Basketball, weight-lifting, football whenever possible, and running. And "auto racing" since apparently that's a sport.
Guest Nanks Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Skiing (snow), Aussie Rules Football, Golf, Tennis.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Basketball I use to play almost every day. Now once a week or so. Weight-lifting too. Nothing better than breaking a sweat after some hard work.
Damaramu Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Yeah if we're talking like a league or varsity sport.....then Rugby. I play Rugby for The University of Oklahoma and it is a varsity sport....I even got a varsity letter. What position do you guys play that play organized Rugby? I'm a prop.

Your Paragon of Virtue Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Flanker/Lock I never got this in the US; what does it mean to be "lettered"? Apparently that's very impressive, like he lettered in four sports or something like that.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Baseball. Basketball. I just broke my pinky and thumb playing basketball. :-/
alfdogg Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I play basketball when I can...but I wouldn't say I play it "seriously." I mean yeah, I'm competing with people somewhat, but we play Dallas-style defense.
Cuban Linx Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I don't play anything, unless sitting on your fat ass all day counts as a sport.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I box and kickbox. I've done a total physical 180 since doing so.

Apparently that's very impressive, like he lettered in four sports or something like that. Hmmm.....I can't think of how best to describe it. It's basically like a reward for playing a sport well.......then you put the letter(which is the intial of your school) and put it on a jacket(usually a special jacket with the schools colors) to show everyone that you play that sport and that you play it well. It's like an honor thing.

Dangerous A Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I play basketball when I can...but I wouldn't say I play it "seriously." I mean yeah, I'm competing with people somewhat, but we play Dallas-style defense. Ditto here. Although some people in pickup games make me take the game too seriously and then I start picking it up defensively. Especially those former high school players that want to do things like run the triangle offense on the black top and shit. The ones who start getting angry at their teammates when they get burned defensively and whatnot. At that point, I lock in on them Artest-like and forsake my offense just to shut them up.
alfdogg Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 No doubt. Which is why I rarely go to the YMCA anymore.
Red Baron Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Weightlifting Tae Kwon Do Golf Ball Hockey those are the only sports/atheticism I do really in leagues/tournaments/activities now.
ant_7000 Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Basketball, I haven't played for competitively for a year.
tbondrage99 Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I used to play hockey all the time, but hey what do you expect Im Canadian

Guest CurryMan Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I play something that I believe is called "team handball" in the states.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I'm a solo guy, myself. Hey, by the way. Someone recommend me a martial art. I started taking judo once, but moved away before I could really progress at all. I'm in good shape, and I'd like to learn an eastern way to whip someone's ass.
