Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 "Northern Exposure: 1st Season" sounds good, but w/ a huge release day coming up in June (Dead Like Me, Simpsons, Aqua Teen, SeaLab 2021), I'd like to save my money. Maybe I'll put NE on my XMas list. "The Race to the Moon" sounds interesting, but I'll probably pass on it.
ArkhamGlobe 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 I'll probably end up getting Smiles of a Summer Night, Stray Dog, Lancelot of the Lake and A Man Escaped at some point in the future.
Mole 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Gee, I wonder which one I'm getting.

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Bubba Ho-Tep is the only new release for me this week. I might also stop by Hollywood Video and pick up some previously viewed DVDs (3 for $25).
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Simpsons season 4 and Curb Your enthusiasm season 2 are coming out in June. Did Saved by the Bell seasons 3&4 already get released? I am gonna get Club Dread. I wanna see Bubba Ho-tep.

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2004 Another thing...Maniac Cop 3 released this week? I already own it on DVD. Got it at Walgreen's the day after Thanksgiving in a DVD 2 for $5 sale. Wacky.
Karnage 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 I highly recommend picking up one or more of FOX's third batch of Hong Kong DVDs if your into that stuff. Prodigal Son, Operation Scorpio, Game of Death II, Royal Warriors and Young Master are all part of the batch and they are less than ten bucks.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 I paid $20 for an import used copy of Prodigal Son 4 years ago! Any idea if the english dub is any good?

Wacky. Some sites include DVDs that are being re-released as new releases, despite being identical to the old DVD. Amazon is bad about doing it.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Those are usually price drops, not re-releases. While Cheers looks tempting this week, I'm going to hold off for next week, as there are quite a few titles being released that I want to pick up.
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 I'd recommend ppl to avoid Club Dred. It had a few moments, but the rest really sucked. Huge let down after Super Troopers.
Karnage 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2004 I paid $20 for an import used copy of Prodigal Son 4 years ago! Any idea if the english dub is any good? All I know is its DTS or 5.1. I don't really dig the dubs that FOX is doing on some of their titles, but if they somehow use an oldschool dub, then I guess its worth the double dip. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2004 Club Dread, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot of 'em.
