Dace59 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 I'm gonna show, even though my fucking PC some how ate FOUR THOUSAND WORDS of my match. Must be a damn corruption on it. Bah, annoying but I'm not going to no show in this series. Such is life. Besides, not have enouhg time left to no show anything anyways.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 I'm showing. This No Gravity match has been a chore, and I'll be damned if I don't wrap it up fairly soon. I'm proud of what I've done, so hopefully that leads to a win. Double gold in the Boulevard, bitches!

Guest Evolution Report post Posted May 29, 2004 Bring on the Igloo, I suppose. Another setback of a no-show is in the books for me.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2004 (edited) *awaits Hell In An Igloo* Same, as I just got back and apparently that will be my punishment. Suitable, I guess... ...got something good that might've happened. My Uncle Ted found this place called Beaver Plastics (go for the jokes, I need a laugh), but apparently they are desperately needing to hire people and it's $12/h and if I'm there for 5 years, I can get my schooling paid for by them. And my Uncle said that I'd get to $20/h in no time at all. It's also full time and pretty simple work... So hey. Maybe I'll actually have something to smile about here soon if I get it... Cause it certainly ain't my Murphy's Law life at the moment. Edited May 29, 2004 by Lightning Flik
muzz 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2004 That's ruleage, Filk. But seriously, 4000 words of Fictional Wrestling > 20 Bucks an Hour.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2004 (edited) That's ruleage, Filk. But seriously, 4000 words of Fictional Wrestling > 20 Bucks an Hour. Dude, I was just told that as I was told the condition of my Grandfather's health. And I'd take words over money any day. As long as they can get me real life things that I need. And frankly, I'd like the job. I hate my current one, plus this one would give me some job security as it would be full time work. That and anything has to be better than "unofficial janitor". That... And I just want to go one month without going "there goes my next paycheck for groceries" or "well, I wish I could blow this on something I want since I earned every dime, but we might need it sometime down the road, so I must save ever penny I earn"... It's not fun that way, living out your life wondering just how you survive. It doesn't help when you've got 10 other people to worry about (the whole rest of my famliy, humans and animals). As for my Grandfather, he's doing alright. That's not saying much, since he is in poor health still, but he's slightly better today. He'll live for awhile longer, but I don't know how much more. However, I've got the feeling it might not be that much longer. Edited May 29, 2004 by Lightning Flik

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2004 Just jesting mate, you said you needed a laugh. =/ I hope things work out as best they can. I realized it after I typed that all out and added the line "And I'd take words over money any day. As long as they can get me real life things that I need." Everything happens for a reason. That's a constant I find in life, so there is a reason for all this to have happened. What that reason is, I'll find out later on.
