dubq Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 ANGEL! [followed closely by Millennium] EDITED: Add Firefly in there as well.
Youth N Asia Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 While I would have said Angel...it had a 5 year run. Where as Wonderfalls had 4 friggin episodes.
KingPK Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 The Mole. They have the first season of it on GSN, and it's lightyears better than 95% of those other "reality gameshows." I didn't watch the Celebrity Mole's, but I would assume that they weren't very good.
Youth N Asia Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 For reality tv I liked The Mole, Murder in Small Town X, and Boot Camp. I have no interest in these kinds of shows when they bring in y level celebs.
2GOLD Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 Fraggle Rock Oh wait, Henson is dead...nevermind. Umm....Firefly I guess
Guest JMA Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 "Angel" and "Family Guy" would be up there. But "Family Guy" IS coming back and "Angel" ended on a high-note. I'm going to go with "X-Men Evolution."

Hank Kingsley Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 I'm happy with the way Angel ended. Wonderfalls, definitely, although supposedly the episodes will be released on DVD by the holidays.

Guest FrigidSoul Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 Oz. It wasn't canceled by HBO but it did still have alot left to give. I think the last episode sets it up so if they ever feel like bringing it back they can do so. If it has to be canceled shows then by all means Spawn: The Animated Series. How HBO could cancel that is beyond me. It was far and away the best adult action cartoon in history.

It was far and away the best adult action cartoon in history. Actually... IDT Entertainment and Todd McFarlane Productions announced that they have reached an agreement to co-produce and distribute a new season of Spawn: The Animated Series. "Ever since the Spawn animated series left HBO in 1999, I have been asked -- almost daily -- when the show is going to return," said Todd McFarlane, Spawn creator and CEO of the McFarlane Companies. "I've been waiting for the right opportunity to not only bring the show back, but also do it with the intent of making it better creatively than its first incarnation. Teaming up with IDT Entertainment's DPS/Film Roman will allow us to take it to the next level of animation technology." Two other unspecified animated projects are also included in the agreement. The contract covers television broadcasts, DVDs, feature films, video games, and merchandising for all three animated projects. (Source: Superherohype.com)
Youth N Asia Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 While Oz was great. It was pretty hit and miss from season 4b through 6.
Guest JMA Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 I'd heard about Spawn TAS returning as well. But will the series take place in 2004 or 1999? And... Wouldn't Wanda and Al's unholy child be about five by now?
RavishingRickRudo Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 I'd kill everyone in this thread to get Firefly back on television. Yeah, that's right. Even YOU, the reader of this thread.
starvenger Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 The Mole. They have the first season of it on GSN, and it's lightyears better than 95% of those other "reality gameshows." I didn't watch the Celebrity Mole's, but I would assume that they weren't very good. Basically it plays out the same, but it's easier for the celebs to add money to the pot and they're treated better. The main difference really is the host. Anderson Cooper was an awesome host. Ahmad Rashad really only hit his stride about halfway through the second celebrity Mole. Out of this season's cancelled crop, it's a tossup between Karen Sisco and Keen Eddie.
Black Lushus Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 Kingpin (the show about the Mexican mobsters)...it was pretty decent...
