The debut of Impact! will be just around the corner come Wednesday night on Pay-Per-View, and we'll no doubt have plenty of breaking news on the much-anticipated show! Certainly, many of the superstars at the Asylum will be gearing up for Impact! To read more about the debut of Impact please CLICK HERE! FOR THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE "KING OF THE MOUNTAIN" LADDER MATCH Champion Ron "The Truth" Killings vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven vs. "Wildcat" Chris Harris In another TNA and wrestling first, a "King Of The Mountain" World Title match will take place this Wednesday night as The Truth defends his newly won gold against four of TNA's top superstars! The rules are innovative, and can best be described as a "reverse ladder match". When a superstar scores a pin, he is given the World Title while his beaten opponent goes to the Penalty Box. The superstar then has two minutes to fight off his opponents and bring the World Title UP the ladder to hang it before the Penalty Box is reopened! The match will continue until one superstar has successfully hung the gold to walk out the champion! FOR THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE Champions Kid Kash and Dallas vs. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and AMW's James Storm Can "The American Dream" taste NWA gold one more time in his celebrated career? He'll get his chance Wednesday night on Pay-Per-View as he teams with James Storm to face champions Kid Kash and Dallas! Will Kash and his monster partner back up their mouths, or will Rhodes and Storm walk into Impact the new tag team champions? Tune in and find out as "The 'Dream" makes one more run at the NWA record books! FOR THE X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Frankie Kazarian vs. The Amazing Red On May 19, X division pioneer The Amazing Red beat Sonjay Dutt in the best of three series to become the new number one contender to the X gold, and Red gets his shot this Wednesday night against cocky champion Frankie "The Future" Kazarian! In what is sure to be an X division aerial classic, The Amazing Red will be looking to avenge his recent loss to Kazarian and claim his second X title reign. On the other hand, "The Future" is rested and ready for Red, who went all-out against Dutt in recent weeks! "THE ALPHA MALE" MONTY BROWN vs. SONNY SIAKI The Alpha Male is still on the hunt for a shot at the NWA World Title, and to keep climbing he's got to get past Sonny Siaki this Wednesday night live on TNA Pay-Per-View! But, beating Siaki is easier said than done, as "Mr. Number One" is looking to make his own run at gold in TNA! THE AFTERMATH OF THE WORLD X CUP NWA's Jerry Lynn and Mexico's Heavy Metal vs. Canada's Petey Williams and Bobby Roode w/ Scott D'Amore Immediately after the World X cup event, TNA officials signed a tag team match for Wednesday night as NWA and AAA join forces with Jerry Lynn and Heavy Metal taking on Canada's Petey Williams and Bobby Roode! Although Team NWA won the World X Cup, Jerry Lynn still has plenty to settle with Team Canada and their manager Scott D'Amore! Can Lynn and Heavy Metal finally get their revenge on Team Canada? Tune in this Wednesday night to find out! "GUT CHECK" MATCH Newcomer D-Ray 3000 vs. To Be Determined According to TNA officials, newcomer D-Ray 3000 will compete in a "Gut Check Match" Wednesday night live on Pay-Per-View! If D-Ray 3000 wins, he'll get a TNA contract and will officially become a member of the roster. If he loses the "Gut Check Match", it's back to competing for a spot on Pay-Per-View! The question is - who will TNA put D-Ray 3000 against to prove himself? Tune in and find out! ALL THIS AND MUCH MORE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, LIVE ON TNA PAY-PER-VIEW! USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Bobby Roode Is spelling really that tough? And Bobby's real last name, or at least the name he inherited from Rick, is Rood.

Astro101 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I don't mind makin up new matches and stuff, but hmm......it says you need to hang the belt before the penalty box is opened. So if you don't hang the belt up before 2 minutes after the pin, you don't get to hang and lose possession?
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Poor, poor Shark Boy. To think D-Ray fucking 3000 is stealing his JTTS spot. This actually seems like a perfect show that will allow them to wipe the slate clean come the debut on FSN. Whatever happens in the World Title Match, a newer angle for that will begin on Friday. The Tag Title is fluff, and this should be the last week of X Cup shit. Monte/y Brown won't be running a feud with Siaki likely. Good planning on their part. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 ... WEIRD main event. This is the kind of card that I'm interested in, but nowhere near being interested in enough to order on PPV.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I think if the "King of the Mountain" match isn't booked horribly, we could have a hell of a match. The main thing is that the match gets a considerable amount of time, because logically it would take ANYONE a while to get a win in that kind of setting. TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 The title match looks sooooo screwed up. Who came up with this idea? It's novel, but I don't know how well it's going to work. And since when is it ROODE? people will be pronouncing it Rudy now. Great.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 It's "Roode" on the TNA website, as well. It's not a typo. I think this "3000" guy is going to lose...maybe they'll feed him to Abyss. Main Event sounds fun, actually.

Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 The king of the mountain match sounds like the DUMBEST FUCKING STIPULATION, EVER.
Guest Donners Report post Posted May 28, 2004 At least they're trying something different. I can't really see anybody but Jarrett winning.
Styles 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 Should be a great show. TNA main events have been on for weeks now, plus new stipulations are always fun. (And I don't think Jarrett's getting the belt this week-that's for IMPACT!'s debut ) Plus 2 X matches and a rematch of the suprisingly hot Dusty/Storm vs. Kash/Dallas match. You know going into IMPACT! they'll want a big show, so I'd say this one's worth gettting.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted June 1, 2004 Well, this show is either gonna be okay-good or plain Horrible. And big surprise, it hinges mainly on the main. The X matches should be pretty good (title) to could be great (tag), the tag title match will suck. DRay v ? and Brown vs Siaki are gonna be average, above average at best... So the Main will tip the scales one way or the other. And if you can't (or won't) get the show, check out the RUSH by me and Laz for all your TNA recapping needs. PLUG~! The main thing is that the match gets a considerable amount of time, because logically it would take ANYONE a while to get a win in that kind of setting. If it wasn't Russo --- your hope would have a good shot at being reality. But, it's Russo. I half expect Kevin Nash to walk out with the World Title. -=Mike
Guest Donners Report post Posted June 2, 2004 Funny you should mention Nash. I'm expecting something big here ahead of the TV deal, and with Jarrett surely about to win back the title (I've already got him marked down as the winner in my little TNA Stats Excel file), I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a run-in from Nash/Hall/Kanyon/Shamrock to affect the result. Styles 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 the tag title match will suck. Actually the first match they had was suprisingly hot, so I wouldn't be suprised to get a good match out of the rematch...
Guest Donners Report post Posted June 2, 2004 As for the rest of the card, I can see Amazing Red taking the X title and AMW reforming somehow. A Siaki/Brown feud would actually be interesting, and finally give poor Siaki a regular position rather than being shuffled around randomly.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted June 2, 2004 A hot match doesn't always mean a good match. A hot crowd can make a bad match watchable, yes, but not much more. Who knows what'll happen.
