UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 The "official" ring names of these two when using THIS gimmick are needed... WCW jobbers from late '95-early '96
Guest netslob Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez seriously, i believe on of them was named "Chris Canyon", but i'm unsure if it's THE Chris Kanyon...don't quote me on this.
Zack Malibu Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 It was Chris Kanyon and Mark Starr. Yes, it was that Kanyon.
MillenniumMan831 Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Also, I believe Mike Wenner (trainer at the Power Plant) was also a short lived member of the Men at Work. I've watched a lot of WCW Pro/Worldwide in my day. They had a sweet entrance theme considering their status in the pecking order.
BHK Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 I've watched a lot of WCW Pro/Worldwide in my day. I'm sorry.
Steviekick Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 I remember the name of this gimmick but nothing else. What exactly was it?
JHawk Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 They were basically construction workers. They wrestled in blue jeans, wore hard hats to the ring, and I remember Kanyon actually using a tape measure to measure the ring on Saturday Night once or twice. And the Starr/Kanyon combo was actually a pretty good team. Had there still been US Tag Titles at that point, they could have had a nice run with them.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 31, 2004 Author Report Posted May 31, 2004 They should have came out to "Who Could it Be Now?"
Dogbert Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Is the Mark Starr of WCW jobbing fame the same guy as Marky Starr, Stampede midcarder?
