gWIL Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Well after seeing previews for it on Cruel Intentions 3 (way better than 2) and Raw, I figured I'd go buy it. Well I did and its not bad, but its no where near the level of the first. Special Effects are decent. What surprised me was no returning actors, or characters. I mean Casper Van Dien isn't above this.
Black Lushus Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 well, other than that stupid Road Rage movie, Casper Van Dien isn't HORRIBLE...
EdwardKnoxII Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Wait. There's a Cruel Intentions 3?? Ok so what's this one about?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I was thinking of starting a thread about this movie yesterday, but decided against it. So we won't be graced by the superb acting of Denise Richards this time around? How will I manage to go on? And these straight to home release sequels are out of control (I'm assuming this was one of those movies since I knew nothing about this film until I saw an ad for it Sunday night...)

It's apparently pretty good for what it is, though.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 How the hell did they make a Cruel Intentions 3, or even a 2 for that matter? SEBASTIAN DIED AT THE END OF THE FIRST ONE!!! Starship Troopers 2? I don't see how it'd be very good especially since this is the kind of sci-fi flick that needs a nice, big budget and at least relatively decent if not overly cheesy acting (but good cheese not bad).
the pinjockey Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I caught about 30-40 minutes of ST2 before work one day. All I can remember is a distinct lack of anything happening. I don't know if it was good before or after that, but I was just surprised at the fact they showed the bugs for about 5 seconds in that stretch. Don't make a DTV action movie and not have any action in it.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Cruel Intentions 2 was a prequel to when Sebastian arrived at the school and met his new family. I enjoyed it for a Direct-To-Video. But 3? I don't know how they did that.
Boner Kawanger Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Maybe it's another prequel, where Baby Sebastian is born and seduces a nurse. That's money right there. Baby Cruel Intentions, bay-bay!
1234-5678 Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I'm assuming Cruel Intentions 3 was made simply for more wackoff material on regular TV.
Guest MikeSC Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 So, were boobies plentiful in this gem? It was the only saving grace of the first one. -=Mike ...Yes, the bugs don't die quickly. We got the point!
The Metal Maniac Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I still can't understand the original movie. The book has the most perfect Hollywood stuff in it that got left out for reasons I can't understand. But then again, the book is a lot more then "bugs! run!" so they kinda left out everything.
nl5xsk1 Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 So, were boobies plentiful in this gem? It was the only saving grace of the first one. -=Mike ...Yes, the bugs don't die quickly. We got the point! One of my teacher's assistant's in college was an extra in the first ST, and shower her titties in the shower scene. She made the mistake of drunkenly telling one of the frat guys in my class when she saw him at the bar. He told the rest of us. It was hard to watch her teach for the rest of the semester (no pun intended).
DerangedHermit Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 It was hard to watch her teach for the rest of the semester (no pun intended). Suuuuure....
HarleyQuinn Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I lasted 30 minutes on this movie before turning it off. I just couldn't get into it, maybe it was the total lack of caring for any of the characters.
Kahran Ramsus Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Well after seeing previews for it on Cruel Intentions 3 (way better than 2) and Raw, I figured I'd go buy it. I mean Casper Van Dien isn't above this. The first was garbage, so I take it that this is one to avoid.
Guest Big_Jay101 Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 The movie was coming on the Action channel about a month before it was on DVD. It wasn't good at all I lasted about 25 minutes in and said fuck it.
