Exslade ZX Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Awww..that sucks Benoit costs Eugene the match. And I guess this leads to... Triple H vs Benoit at Vengeance. But Eugene didn't lose!!
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 HHH outsmarts Benoit, that's beautiful AND in character.
Vyce Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 And the seeds of the Eugene heel turn are sown.
Steviekick Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 HHH is going to get overcocky now and Eugene will pull the upset.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Eugene even takes a good chair shot...Eugene is better than a large portion of the roster.
Guest Choken One Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 That god damned Benoit! DAMN HIS SOUL!
NYU Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 .....what an absolute downer that was. Worst. Raw ending. Ever. We already know Evolution is evil. But seriously now, they could have given the home audience SOMETHING to be happy about. Christ....
Guest Fook Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 So wait, how is HHH the number one contender? He didn't beat the hell out of Eugene, Benoit did.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 That was anticlimactic.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Mr. Z with the QUADRUPLE POST OF DOOM! Doesn't touch the...whatever Eight-in-a-row posts someone once did.

Which is why I said the home audience.....obviously, the Rock came out at the end for the live crowd.
CanadianChick Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 So wait, how is HHH the number one contender? He didn't beat the hell out of Eugene, Benoit did. Yeah, I don't get that either. And if HHH does indeed face Benoit at Vengeance, wouldn't that just waste the Summerslam match? I mean, let's not have more feud overkills here.

It's logic in wrestling. In 2 weeks, Lita will look like she's 6 months pregnant and Kane will NEVER wear anything other than his ring attire.
NYU Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Well, we haven't really heard anything concrete when it comes to the Vengeance card yet. And it really is only a few weeks away from now. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if they wound up booking Elimination Chamber III at Vengeance. It doesn't give away Benoit/HHH just yet, but it still puts them in an interesting match that should generate a relatively good number of buys.

Benoit, HHH, Kane, Jericho (if not killed tonight), and maybe Edge and Batista as the filler. Looks 100x better than the Summerslam EC Match last year.
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Well Eugene didn't exactly........lose the match. And will have to see if he appears next week. and if so what will Bischy do. Love his inexplainable hatred for Eugene that when he is finally questioned he cannot explain himself.
Silence Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 A large portion of Raw was shitty, too, not just the ending. -The Rock makes one of his pointless rare appearances just to talk about his family and Miami football teams. Rock, if you want to stay with WWE, start showing up more, or go back to Hollywood. -Molly gets her wig pulled off for the 1,000th time by The Rock. -The pointless Diva contest was all over Raw tonight, and that means we'll see more fluffers (credit: AndrewTS) in WWE instead of good female wrestlers, obviously. -Did Jericho's neck actually get worse or is WWE doing another stupid "injury" angle? -Matt Hardy continues to get buried in the predictable pregnancy angle, complete with Kane revealing himself as the possible "father" of Lita's "baby" and horrible acting from Lita and Matt. -The anticlimatic ending with Benoit missing HHH with the chairshot and hitting Eugene instead, of course. Oh, and another thing: THE GOD DAMN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS STILL NOT GETTING THE FUCKING FOCUS ON RAW BECAUSE OF A RETARD AND A SPOTLIGHT HOGGING KLIQ MEMBER!
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Ugh..... well Raw has almost killed any goodwill it built up during April/early May now. What a horrible show. Looks like it's all going to be an unwatchable mess again once Triple H gets the title back. I mean did any face even do shit tonight?
JN News Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 What is the official match result of the HHH/Eugene match?
Art Sandusky Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I enjoyed the show as a whole, but at least pin Eugene to get the #1 Contender's slot if that's what it was all about. Sure, HHH beat the hell out of Eugene, but he didn't actually beat him.
CanadianChick Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Matt Hardy continues to get buried in the predictable pregnancy angle, complete with Kane revealing himself as the possible "father" of Lita's "baby" and horrible acting from Lita and Matt. Meh, I thought Matt's acting was fine, actually. Lita, on the other hand... I don't think I've seen worst fake crying in my life. Hell, even Trish's crying when she found out about the bet was better.
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 wanna know how is 5 segments of fucking not even contracted WWE divas on my TV suppose to be better than actually wrestling on a wrestling show?

Hell, even Trish's crying when she found out about the bet was better. Even Mean Gene's crying when he met the Gobbledy Gooker was better. ..wait, I think I was the one crying.
