Johnny Nitro is also gone but his was taken down a few weeks ago. Also, Chavo Classic is also gone from the Smackdown Superstars page." - Glenn -
Ultra Violence Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Did this really require two fucking identical threads by you?
Lil' Bitch Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I'll miss the Mack and why the fuck did they get rid of John?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 What was he fierd for? He wrestled a dark match on RAW last week IIRC.
Zack Malibu Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Nitro probably is just going to spend more time in OVW getting seasoned in-ring wise. My guess on Mack is that he'll probably be shifted to Smackdown, although I have seen his name on recent house show reports.
TheBigSwigg Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Rodney Mack wrestled Rhyno in a dark match in Dayton.
2GOLD Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Johnny Nitro was "fired" remember? Odds are he'll come back with a new gimmick or he'll head back to OVW. But getting sent back to OVW is almost like the death blow nowadays. Dreamer I guess will take independent bookings but it's a shame he couldn't keep the WWE job. Storm will either go TNA or will train wrestlers I'd say.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I guess you forgot Storm IS an OVW Trainer, and Dreamer will be kept on but not in a wrestling role.
thuganomics Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I'd be unsurprised to see Rodney and Nitro get shifted to Smackdown, and Dreamer and Storm aren't wrestlers so that isn't all that surprising.
Max Danger Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Mack is in OVW right now, set to challenge the OVW Champion Matt Morgan at the next TV taping... I think. I wasn't paying too much attention on last week's show. But he's there.
1234-5678 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 If they fired Mack after all the hours of entertainment he has provided me with, I was going to be pissed.
spman Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Rodney Mack will probobly be repackaged with Teddy Long on Smackdown. It was reported a while ago that TOmmy Dreamer was living at home with his his wife and new kid and that his contract wouldn't be renewed
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 ROH was hoping to use Dreamer, but as the Observer reported, Dreamer has an office job that he won't be leaving since he has twins and all.
Scroby Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I find it funny that people on these boards actually don't know about Nitro, Dreamer, and Storm. Nitro was fired storyline wise because he lost to Eugene (this only happen 3 weeks ago.) Dreamer is taking another job with the WWE, can't remember as what through. Storm is now a trainer with the OVW while still being paid by the WWE.
Australian Pride Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Could it be possible that they are holding off bringing Mack back to TV until Mark Henry is fit, so then they can launch an assault on the tag team titles? Considering how stale the Raw tag division is it might not be that bad of an idea.

Since they want to push Jindrak, the latter is unlikely.
1234-5678 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Could it be possible that they are holding off bringing Mack back to TV until Mark Henry is fit, They've been waiting for that since 1996.

Guest Quik Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Long is the most overrated manager ever. He gets heat, he doesn't get heat for the people he manages.
Guest Choken One Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Dreamer is hosting BYTE THIS and I believe he is also a part of creative. I'm sure he'll do an occasional Indy Show to keep his competitive edge intact but he doesn't need it.....

I wasn't paying too much attention on last week's show. But he's there. Not on the next show, but on the next Six Flags SUPER SUMMER SIZZLER SERIES.

Guest Anglesault Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Mack was almost Basham levels of vanilla. Almost
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Mack was almost Basham levels of vanilla. Almost Hey, you gotta back the Mack, not...go shazam for a basham.
EdwardKnoxII Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Long is the most overrated manager ever. He gets heat, he doesn't get heat for the people he manages. Well look at the people that Long has managed and you'll see why. The only decent wrestler that he has managed was D-Lo.
Vyce Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 I must agree with AS. To describe Mack in any terms more positive than "painfully average and boring" is to GROSSLY overrate him.
