Guest TigerDriver91 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Just saw an ad for tonight's RAW and guess what the main thing it was about. Yep the Diva Search. Well, I will watch some DVDs instead of Raw tonight then.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Eugene should come back and Berserkly take out every evolution member then find Uncle Eric and beat him half to death with a chair. and I would like world peace too...
BHK 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Am I the only one who HATES when they don't have any big match mentioned for the show? RAW got on track when they hyped up a big match every week. -=Mike Announcing matches ahead of time=build up and anticipation. build up and anticipation=people watching. people watching=ratings So either: A)Vince and co have not figured out the above or B) they're not motivated enough to book the show more than one day in advance
Guest Fook Report post Posted July 19, 2004 They ARE hyping things in advance. Doesn't everyone want to see the next installment of that amazing diva search?
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Eugene rang in my local radio station today. He said hi to Uncle Eric. It was nuts.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Just saw an ad for tonight's RAW and guess what the main thing it was about. Yep the Diva Search. Well, I will watch some DVDs instead of Raw tonight then. I'll go ahead and watch Raw anyway, because I want to see if the crowd has totally turned against the Diva Search yet. Guest M. Harry Smilac Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Edge Vs. Orton rematch for the IC is their announced match. Yipee Throw in a Lita/Kane/Matt segment. Some disposable women's match. Tajiri Vs. one of La Res A long HHH Segment And you have tonight's raw.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I'm going to go out on a FAR limb, and say that tonight's Raw ends with Triple H taking the Pedigree from Eugene.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Trish should get Batista's clone to powerbomb the divas. How about the Undertaker comes on and tries to embalm all of them alive? *The only reason I remember that incident because it was the same Raw where Duane Gill won the Light Heavyweight Championship from Christian*
starvenger 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 wrt Diva Search: 1) I completely agree, it's a waste of time, and 2) Carmella is uber-hot, they obviously want her to win, so give it to her already. Helms - he'd be a helluva better choice for Green Lantern over Jack Black. Black is a good comic actor, but he ain't no superhero.
algrim 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Hopefully we'll hear from Christian and see the return of Shelton Benjamin (perhaps)? I hope that we don't get to hear much of Lawler tonight, but I doubt it.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Trish should get Batista's clone to powerbomb the divas. Tomko silences all those tools who believe in "Nature." Pwned by the "Nurture" advocates!
BHK 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Just a quick note, they updated the preview and announced an Edge/Orton rematch. I don't like this at all, and it's a major issue with single brand PPVs, I think. We've now had MULTIPLE instances of them having a PPV match, only to give it away on free TV later. Isn't this a major disincentive for me to plunk down my $35?

Then you wouldn't have to worry about seeing a superstar vs. superstar match-up for free....
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 On Monday Night RAW last week, Eugene thought he had captured the World Heavyweight Championship. Then, during his post-match celebration, he thought his new "friends" Evolution were coming down to celebrate with him. Little did he know that the faction was coming to tear him apart. Led by Triple H, Evolution decimated Eugene, leaving him a bloody mess. What will happen next in the Eugene/Evolution saga? Tune in to RAW to find out (9/8 CT on Spike TV). Nice to see that Benoit isn't even mentioned at all, ya know, being champ and all....
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I loved Brock/Goldberg at mania because the fans totally shit on them. I am going to watch tonight for the first time since Mania because I think it is funny when the crowd really shits on someone and JR has to cover it up. Lets face it, if the crowd reacts like they did to the above mentioned mania match the diva segment will be the most entertaining one on raw.

Isn't this a major disincentive for me to plunk down my $35? Normally a PPV match SHOULD have better quality than a free TV one. If I wrestled, I'd put more effort into making a match good on a PPV than I would on Raw or Smackdown. Only when a match is better on free TV than it was on the PPV should you feel upset about paying $35 for it.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I'm sorry but token HOSS who does nothing but waste tv time is currently being held by Tomko, so Plumbo will have to pay his dues and beg for time on Heat. Creative currently has no plans for the guy who can throw a decent punch. They already made him gay and a sterotypically Itallian so the Creative is currently stumped for any new ideas....maybe in a few months Chuck can have a comedy gimmick but don't hold your breath. source: the 1st website after a google search for "insider info"
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 Woah that guy was right about the 10 weeks, but how is anyone suppose about the contestents like in Tough Enough? Will the particapate in judging pose downs? Perhaps some trivia? Oh well I don't have TV now so, ha ha. No, its not gonna be like that. All 10 of them will come out and do their stuff, fans "Vote" on who they like the most and the one with the least "votes" gets eliminated, and then they come back next week with the 9 left and do the same thing. Repeat several times until you only have one left.
