PT Anderson's films:

1. Magnolia

2. Boogie Nights

3. Punch-Drunk Love

4. Hard Eight/Sydney

Of course, I love all four, and Magnolia and Boogie Nights could probably shift at any time depending on when I watch them again. I can't wait till There Will Be Blood comes out, whenever it does. Daniel Day-Lewis and PT Anderson in an Upton Sinclair adaptation. Bring it.

Good man. I hear May 2007 and from what I heard, sounds like it's going to be great.

It's interesting that so few of us ever put comedies in our top five. It's like "TOP 5 THIS IS SERIOUS".

I just saw Carlito's Way for the first time ever the other night (I saw someone had it on their list).

For the most part, I really liked it. The ending chase scene was really great. I did not like the prologue and its foreshadowing, nor did I like how the film blatantly came off as Scarface Lite. But the cast was exceptional. Calling something Scarface Lite isn't a bad thing. I'd give the flick a solid B+.
