the.weej 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 (edited) The Smartmarks Wrestling Federation Presents... A PAY-PER-VIEW EXTRAVAGANZA! SWF GROUND ZERO, LIVE, SUNDAY AUGUST 1ST, FROM THE *SOLD OUT* AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER IN DALLAS, TEXAS! (7pm PCT, 10pm EST; check local listings) (Featuring music by the Diplomats, "Ground Zero") MAIN EVENT TRIPLE THREAT, WORLD TITLE BOUT, TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS Janus© vs "The Superior One" Tom Flesher© vs Toxxic It's been a tultimous reign for the Hell Machine, but he remains imposing and fear-inspiring as always. It's been a hell of a ride for Toxxic, poised to become the fastest SWF world champion since 2000. And for Tom Flesher, well, he's got a belt -- just not the one he wanted. After six weeks of agonizing waiting, Tom Flesher and Toxxic are set to face Janus in one of the biggest triple threats in SWF history, with the biggest title on the line. This should be fun. Rules: The loser is the first man to be pinned or submit TWICE. Falls are totally independant of whoever gets them; if Tom pins Toxxic, and then Janus pins Toxxic, Janus retains his title, and vice-versa for any number of permutations. DQ and countout ARE in effect, although the title cannot change hands by them. Send To: realitycheck TAG TEAM MATCH TAG TEAM TITLE BOUT 42nd Street© vs Andrea Montgomery & The Birdman A scheduling conflict, a bad time for a vacation, a frustrated partner and a new, 'temporary' replacement waiting in the wings. All part of the interesting thread woven into this tag team title match. Mike Van Siclen all but bailed on his partner for a Hawaiin getaway, leaving Todd Cortez with the tag straps over both of his shoulders -- but never fear, for the Masked Man is here! And MM and Todd have looked very comfortable as a team, going so far as to pick out their own name, despite the fact that technically MVS and Todd are still the champions. They succeeded in defending the belts once, and have been put to task again against the surprisingly successful combination of Andrea Montgomery and the Birdman. All of this is very intersting -- especially the fact that Mike's flight comes in at 4:00pm Sunday afternoon. Rules: Standard tag match. Remember the tag ropes~ Send To: chirs3 TRIPLE THREAT NUMBER ONE CONTENDER BOUT; SUBMISSIONS MATCH Jamie Drazon vs Ace Lezaire vs Dace Night Let's try this again, but this time, with Dace thrown into the mix. Ace and JD faced a few shows ago for the right to face the world champion after this PPV, but unfortunately, they both missed their flights. Now, they get an opportunity to do this again, with the ever-hungry Dace Night tossed in for effect; both to try and satiate his unending desire to get his hands on the biggest prize the SWF has to offer and to show a little symmetry with the main event. And why not go a step further -- the winner is the man who can contort his opponents in the most interesting way! Rules: First submission wins. You quit, you lose, you go to the back and cry. Send To: Kibagami SINGLES MATCH ICTV TITLE BOUT Johnny Dangerous© vs Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix In what could be considered a sizeable upset, Johnny Dangerous defeated Landon Maddix for the ICTV title a few weeks back. Given that Maddix had run the gauntlet and then run it back after winning the belt, it shouldn't be too surprising that the gargantuan effort he'd been putting in finally caught up with him. That said, upset or not, Maddix is incredibly capable, and is incredibly eager to get his rematch for the belt. Easier said than done, as Dangerous sees it as his ticket to the top of the card, and is keep the gold in a white-knuckled grip. Rules: Standard singles match. Send To: Thoth SINGLES MATCH USJL TITLE BOUT Manson© vs "The Icon" Max King The long-suffering Manson finally broke through a few shows again, capturing his first title in a long, long, LONG time, dethroning the Masked Man for the USJL championship. With all that is left of the SJL compressed into the belt hanging off his shoulder, it no doubt has the man who was in the SJL for years beaming with pride -- but now comes the hard part. Max King beat Vladimir Everheart for the right to face Manson on PPV, and so he comes to make the date. Rules: Standard singles match. Send To: Suicide King HARDCORE MATCH HARDCORE TITLE BOUT Martin "Big Country" Hunt© vs Sean Davis Sean Davis has been the odd man out in Revolution Zero, yet to make a big impression -- although he blames much of this on "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins, saying he failed to come through when they faced Masked Man and Todd Cortez for the world tag team titles. All is not rosy with that team, and they haven't been awarded a rematch for this PPV with Andrea and the Birdman winning the tag contendership. Strangely enough, Davis has been given an opportunity to prove his worth with a shot at Martin Hunt's hardcore title, something I'm sure he has no arguments about. Rules: What? Send To: Thoth SINGLES MATCH Ced Ordonez vs Munich They've been teaming a lot recently, but it needs to be noted that Ced and Munich aren't allies. The two of them face off after a short stint of handicap matches at GZ. Rules: Standard singles match. Send To: Suicide King SINGLES MATCH ??? vs Candace ???-man makes another epic return to the SWF, this time facing off against relative newcomer Canadace. ??? man, you know who you are, make sure you send your stats out. Rules: Standard singles match. Send To: Grand Slam MALL BRAWL V Austin Sly vs "The Corona" Vladimir Everheart vs Edward James vs Petey the Irish Penguin vs Ryan Dustin vs ??? Outside of Austin Sly, these five men have floudered recently. Sly's shot at the Cruiserweight title is guaranteed, but further direction and a definite move up the card could be assured with a victory here, and that goes double for everyone else involved. Especially the ever-ambiguous ???, a marathon man tonight making the first of two appearances on the card. The classic, crazy clusterfuck and one of the SWF's hallmark gimmick matches is back, and better than ever! Rules: There is a red balloon somewhere in the mall, inside of which is a gold ticket and some confetti. Whoever pops the balloon and takes hold of the gold ticket is the winner. This takes place in Northpark Center Mall, just outside of downtown Dallas, and everywhere in the mall is game. I guess you could look up store listings or floorplans or whatever, but it's not necessary. Send To: realitycheck (Send everything to realitycheck) (Decorum Notes: Nuclear fallout, baybee. Skeletal buildings, blast craters, burned out cars, etc. Wrestlers emerge from a scrap heap of... blown up stuff. Yeah.) The Ill One 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 Wow, this is a first. Already hit roughly 2k and have store listings, floor plans, and some decent ideas. Hurray for sudden 180* turn... 'til I lose! Edit: I'm assuming we can tack on our own ideas such as stairs, escalators, stores, etc?

muzz 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 If a Forklift being driven by Toxxic whilst guided by Judge Mental does not make an appearence in the Mall Brawl, I will be severely dissapointed, and will have the female Muzz subject you all to furry art. Thank you.
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 OK, so... if Janus got DQ'd for the first fall against him but then I pinned him for the second one, would I win the title or would the DQ mean that he'd retain the belt? Obviously the belt can't change hands on the second one because it wouldn't be obvious who should get it out of me or Tom. And what the fuck do you mean, countout is in effect? You mean that on top of having to watch two heels in the ring the ref ALSO has to count if the third guy is outside?
the.weej 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 Yes. On both counts. Don't let the rules hinder you; use them to your advantage. Creative manipulation of things like that can be a factor in deciding a match.. -Z
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 I think I speak for everyone when I say let's hope this leaves a better taste in the CC's mouth than last year's GZ, otherwise we're all dead. And on that subject, here's hoping I actually show with a competitive match this month. EDIT: Stats have undergone their weekly modification. Take note Johnny boy. Guest Aecas Report post Posted July 30, 2004 Grah this match is not looking promising unfortunately. Things keep cropping up and inspiration is going up and down faster than the springs on the bed of a hula hoop champion. Still on a side not I suppose I should say that Vlad has a rather appauling grasp of the english language, he can understand most of whats said to him but he can only speak pigeon Enlgish at best so feel free to have him confuse the hell out of people in Norwegian.
