EdwardKnoxII Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 http://411mania.com/wrestling/news/newsboa...p?news_id=10034 Former WWE Star Planning To Release New Film And WWE doesn't want you to see it..... Former WWE star Maxx Payne is once again promoting the release of a independent film that will feature a lot of footage he shot with his video camera backstage during his time with the then WWF. Payne had planned to release the film years ago, but never did. Many believe that WWE had something to do with the film not being released and don't want something on the film to be released. This time around, the film is being called "The Real Max Payne" and pre-orders have started on Payne's website. The movie is promising an uncensored look at what really goes on backstage in the WWF. The footage is from the early to mid-1990s. HBO used some of Payne's footage in their Real Sports show on deaths in pro-wrestling. That show is best remembered as the show that got Roddy Piper fired from WWE for his controversial comments. And to get an idea as to why WWE doesn't want this film released, check out the trailer which features Kevin Nash holding up prescription bottles in his hand. The trailer is available here http://www.maxxpayne.com/doc.html
Steviekick Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I've been waiting for this for about three years now. It definitely sounds interesting.
EdwardKnoxII Posted August 6, 2004 Author Report Posted August 6, 2004 I like to see it just because of the time period it took place in. The mid 90s when HBK and friends were all over the booking.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I don't know how serious this film is suppossed to be, but I'll say this... In the trailer, I cracked up at the DiBiase part.
geniusMoment Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 The only way I would order this is if there was some locker room footage of sunny from 96, by locker room footage I mean her being naked.
Steviekick Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I'm sure it will be very serious once they add in Payne's narratives. He's a pretty jaded man.
Jobber of the Week Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I'm sure it will be very serious once they add in Payne's narratives. He's a pretty jaded man. "As I sat backstage drinking coffee, watching the TV like a man who'd commit suicide if he could find anything more boring to do, the squash match had finally ended. The audience was asleep, their eyes rolled back in their heads. All they needed was to stop their heartbeats and we could legally have them sent off to the morgue, where they'd probably be happier. It was definitely time for someone with talent to go out there and get on the stick, start a fire in the crowds that would take over the building and build to a bright, towering inferno of applause and cheers. Instead, they had Mabel squashing a WrestleCrap gimmick. Whoever booked this show clearly had the hollow, cold heart of a snake." Aw hell, if you don't play video games, you won't get it.

Jobber of the Week Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 Max Payne is also a computer game. It's filled lots of dry, dreary dialogue with the main character overdramatizing everything and making a ton of allegories in the process.

Hell I hope to see footage of all the drugs Vince and everyone was talking to have booked Mabel in the main events with Nash.

Guest Eugene` Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 If anyone has seen the trailer, the one part I find interesting is seeing Nash jokingly throw around a bottle of pills. This could potentially be the story of 2004, or 2005 whenever it is released.
Guest KJ Brackish Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 Site died.......... I think. Maxx Payne hasn't been paying his internet bills. I think he'd better get to releasing that DVD, so that he can pay for his website KJ
Guest KJ Brackish Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I just downloaded the trailer fine. We'll say that you were lucky then. It's not working now.... I don't know why. KJ PS: TRITEC come over and watch IMPACT~!
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I just downloaded the trailer fine. Can you post a direct link? I'm having zero luck getting to the url listed in the first post
Steviekick Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 http://www.maxxpayne.com/doc.html That's the link from Maxx's page.
LucharesuFan619 Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 It won't load for me either, and I wanna see it.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 I'm outraged, OUTRAGED I tells ya....... You mean to tell me this thread ISN'T about WWE trying to block the release of the long-awaited follow-up to Santa With Muscles?
Guest Quik Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 What kind of moron flashes a bottle of presecription pills around in front of a jobber with a videocamera who's probly gonna be fired in a few months?
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Hmm next thing you know Shawn Stasiak will release the audio tapes he made of wrestlers' conversations that got him fired.
reign Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 The site is down and damnit I wanna see the trailer...does anyone have the trailer still until the site is back up?!
haVoc Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 What kind of moron flashes a bottle of presecription pills around in front of a jobber with a videocamera who's probly gonna be fired in a few months? A drunk, stoned one?

A drunk, stoned one? Well, that's just unexcusable. Kevin Nash has to turn in his "stoner who can handle his shit" card for gross stupidity.
humongous2002 Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 What kind of moron flashes a bottle of presecription pills around in front of a jobber with a videocamera who's probly gonna be fired in a few months? A drunk, stoned one? The second worst WWF/E champion next to JBL?
Art Sandusky Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 This is never going down. There have been rumblings about this one since 2000/2001.
Enigma Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Speaking of which, whatever came of Maxx Payne's lawsuit against Rockstar Games for the using the name "Max Payne" for their video games?
