starvenger 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2004 Christ, how this show ever had an audience is beyond me.. Syndication and little kids' fascination with everything Olsen. Plus it was part of the TGIF slot with Urkel.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2004 Full House was funny in a 'so bad it's good' kind of way. I used to watch it every week, even when I was a full-on punk and would be all high at someone's house on a Friday night. The cheesiness used to crack me up, and it just became a show that I always watched. /not a pedo ... I swear.
dubq 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2004 Full House was funny in a 'so bad it's good' kind of way. To put this in wrestling-terms, I found it garnered more X-Pac Heat than anything from myself and any of my friends.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2004 What really fucked my up was watching Bob Saget on this show and then finding out later that he's really a dirty old man. But, looking back on the show Dan Tanner always looked like he was ready to snap and kill someone at anytime.
Guest thebigjig Report post Posted August 16, 2004 Even at the age of 10, I hated this show with a passion... and for some reason, I watched it anyway! Same with Power Rangers and my fascination with horrible, cheesy music... there's just something charming about really horrible things. I remember at some point asking myself why I was watching, and this tiny voice in my head tells me to "shut up fucker and enjoy the show" The same voice was talking to me last night as I watched SummerSlam

Bob Saget, the comedian, is pretty funny. I think the only time on TV that we've seen glimpses of the "real" Bob Saget is when he hosted SNL...

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2004 What really fucked me up was watching Bob Saget on this show and then finding out later that he's really a dirty old man. Wait...what? As for me, I used to watch the show. Used to as in laugh hilariously at it now. As a really young kid, the show seemed funny. Now it is...but in a completely different way. Every goddamned show has it's little 'moral message' at the end. It's laughable, really, how pathetic it was. Cheesy humor, lame as hell sap-crap, all around awfulness. Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted August 18, 2004 This has trainwreck written all over it. I mean the most annoying part of this show was that they put a laugh track to go off anytime the Olson Twins would say something, becuase we all know that baby's saying something is so hilarious. Well now that the twins are legal and older, the laugh track will be very obvious trying to hide how unfunny the show was. What they should do is this: Bob Sagat goes off on a rant about how this show killed his career, so that he had to suck @#$$ for coke. Joey - My hot wife left me after realizing I was John Stamos and my only claim to fame is this stupid show. And the fact that my music causes people to leave the club. Man I wish the show was still going on, so that I would appear to be a rocker. The unfunny uncle guy, who Allanis Morrisette wrote her greatest hit about (how did this happen, and why would you be really hurt by this tool anyway). Finally gets exposed as having no talent, and gets booed off the stage and show. All the while trying to do the only voice he can do decent, Popeye, but since many of today's youth are not familiar with Popeye his jokes bomb hard core. And I am laughing at that. The other girls on the show - At least one is strung out on drugs, because she hasn't worked since. And Kirk Cameron's Sister also bitches about how she can't escape the label of being the older sister on this stupid show. So this show is not really reunion show, it is more all the actors sitting around and saying how bad this show is, and that the Devil won't let them move on, except for the Olson twins who were to young to sign that contract. Now that would be a show worth watching.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2004 John Stamos was Jesse, not Joey. Joey was Dave Coulier.
reign 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2004 Got I hated that show..but I believe I was there to witness one especially horrible episode about weight loss where the older sister was eating ice cubes to lose weight...that's not just TGIF...that's comedic genius. Guest syncer55 Report post Posted August 21, 2004 It would probably be embarassing for cast to know that two twin babies grew up to be more famous than all of them combined.
Tawren 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2004 I love Full House, for the record. Yes, it sucks hard, but I can watch it any time for any length of time and not get bored. Great stuff, in a way.
