I was so pissed the times that Carl crouched and wouldn't move. Should've heard the squeals.

Using cheats debilitates the games to reaching 100%.

Is that all?

Shit, then, I shall cheat away. Like hell I give a shit about completing EVERY Rampage challenge or R3 mission.

With all of the kick-ass games comming out for the PS2 now, I finally caved and turned in almost half of my DVD collection (including my beloved Angel series collection:( ) to get teh money to get a PS2 once more, as well as this game.

So far: worth it.

If I'm playing through a game, usually I have the intent to, you know, finish it.

If you really want to use cheats, I'd have a no cheat file and a cheat file or something.

If I've completed all the story missions, quite frankly, I'M DONE.

Only if I have absolutely NOTHING else to do on a Saturday afternoon will I waste my time doing EVERY rampage mission or R3 mission, etc., to get "100%".

If you're satisfied by a partially complete game, kudos to you. Because that's all it'll ever be.

Actually it won't, you can still get 100% using cheats.

For one, it worked for me personally in Vice City. I used the health cheat a lot, and I got 100%.

And also, don't remember the site name, but the guy has pictures of his file, because he has a bunch of maps showing different things since he's gotten 100% already...and under his stats, Use Cheats says, yes....so evidently cheats don't stop you from getting 100%

Well, I dont know about anyone else, but for me atleast, my game file would not load after I saved RIGHT before the last mission. I would play it, then I would die, so I would try to load, and the file would fail. Three times mother fucker. I played 8 more fuckign hours to catch back up to the end, and it fucking happened again. DON'T USE CHEATS.

Also, could someone P.M. me or put in spoilers basically what the ending video is, because I'm not sure if I will end up replaying the game, and I'd really like to know how they closed up the story line. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Also, does anyone know where I could actually download the ending? I didn't think I could anywhere, but i was just checking.....

Then theres something wrong other than the cheats. Cheats have never stopped me from beating any of the games yet.

Oh man, I tell you, it's gonna keep me up at night.

Just tossing and turning, thinking.......God......if only I had been able to find that last "unique jump", or reach level 22 of the Ambulance mission, my life would just be COMPLETE.

It sounds like you think I'm questioning how much you care about it. I'm not. I don't give a shit. But when you buy a game, isn't the objective to finish it?

Again, until you've gotten 100%, which the game developers have deemed the end, it won't be finished. Whether or not you care is up to you.

Actually, I think it was the jetpack they were covering

As for Spike, you asked for it.:

After Officer Tenpenny gets aquitted of murder, Los Santos riots. You and Sweet decide to take out Big Smoke once and for all at his crack factory. CJ goes at it alone and you fight your way up to him, and take him out. Tenpenny arrives, and takes the money that Smoke has earned, ready to hop a plane out of San Andreas. You chase him out of the compound (which gets blown up) and he takes a fire engine and races for the airport, with you and Sweet in pursuit. Rioters and police try and take both you and Tenpenny out, tossing molitov cocktails into the road and chasing you on motorbikes and poilce cars. Tenpenny loses control and crashes off a bridge, landing on Grove Street, where CJ and crew watches him die.

I have a friend who's a big Metal Gear Solid fan, but I've never even played it. Someone wanna attempt to sell me on it without getting this too off-topic?

Yeah I thought it was a bit anti-climactic too.....But ya know, if you think about the grand scheme of it all, it wasn't a bad storyline. I suppose it works well, but I mean, man I woulda just LOVED to have seen Vercetti in San Andreas. It woulda been amazing. Anyway, yeah, since this GTA is the last on PS2, I think they could have had Carl just die, and the rioting continue at the end of the game. Im not sure if I would want that more than the actual ending, but it is an idea, as SA was the end of the GTA trilogy, and really, they have all been about the same I guess. Sure they were different, and I love them all, but they seem so similiar in the end.

I still LOVE the ending of GTA3 though. Pure genious.

I restarted on Saturday night, am now up to working with Catalina again, robbing her four designated places of business. Exams and other end-of-school bullshit have slowed the process down a bit, but things are coming along nicely.

Posted

That's where I'm at right now...you guys are right, Catalina fucking sucks and from what I have heard she only gets worse! I'm stuck on the mission where you have to chase the 3 assholes on 4 wheelers...I've finished her other missions...

question: gta3 is before gta:sa as far as timeline goes? am i right?

You've Had Your Chips is getting on my nerves. There's like, 20 guys there. Ammu-Nation doesn't have any rocket launchers for sale, so what weapons do you suggest I use?

No, GTA 3 is the last of the GTA games on the time line. Vice City, then San Andreas, then GTA 3. Hence, when you are on the mission with Catalina where she wants to race you, the "new boyfriend" she introduces you too, is the main character from GTA 3, and after the race, she says they are heading to Liberty City.

I need some help on the mission where you use the mini-airplane to kill the couriers. I am not that good at flying the plane, but I am good enough to position the plane behind the couriers and shoot. My problem is though, when I am down to only two couriers, my fuel level is so low that I end up failing the mission while I am in pursuit of the last two couriers. Is there a place to refuel, or is it a matter of just trying different combinations of which couriers to get first so they all end up coming close to me, so I won't run out of fuel?
