Real jazzy marimba and xylophone type stuff that gets dry and lasts a little too long at times, but is backed up by guitar work, particularly on "Inca Roads," that is nothing short of astounding. This is way way more progressive than his 60's and 70's work, but lacks that living, pulsating rhythm section of Bozzio and O'Hearn. Lots of instrumentals on here, too.
