Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted August 27, 2003 Report Posted August 27, 2003 Without You- Van Halen  I'm only doing research, I'm not listening for enjoyment. Trust me, I don't enjoy Cherone.
PLAGIARISM! Posted August 27, 2003 Report Posted August 27, 2003 "At home, at work, at play." by Sparks. No-one was structuring songs like this, or producing such fantastic lyrics at the time IMO.
Henry Spencer Posted August 27, 2003 Report Posted August 27, 2003 Elvis Costello - This Year's Girl, demo version. It's faster than the album version, but not better.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Elvis Costello - This Year's Girl, demo version. It's faster than the album version, but not better. Faster and better: the demo of "Living in Paradise." Â I'm listening to Outkast's Aquemini, which just hit "Rosa Parks." Cut it up.
Steviekick Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 "California Uberalles" - Six Feet Under
PLAGIARISM! Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Tom Waits - 'Blood money'. Â For the Waits fans here, just tell me, Blood Money or Alice? I'm really torn at the moment.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 "California Uberalles" - Six Feet Under I vehemently hate that cover. Chris Barnes' bastardizations of previously decent songs, or goofy songs that remain dumb, HAS to be done solely for his own amusement, otherwise, I could never forgive it. Â Right now, I had to bust out "Angel of Death" Â *Hair circles*
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Raining Blood. Â Also, contrary to the beliefs of a couple other metal dudes on here, the rest of the album is NOT in fact, generic thrash. There's some good songs stuck in there, like "Altar of Sacrifice" "Jesus Saves" and "Postmortem."
Guest Doomsault Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 "Believe" by Antiloop  Complete Discography by Minor Threat  Underground Army by The Casualties  777: I Luciferi by Danzig
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Megadeth-Train of Consequences
Guest BAR Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 'Children of the Damned' Iron Maiden. Sounds like Metallica may have ripped from this on The Unforgiven I & II.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Current album of the year  Zyklon - Aeon
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Clutch-"Muchas Veces" Rapidly becoming one of my favorite bands.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 "Toy Box"- Soundgarden  I fucking LOVE this song. Download it, or pick up the CD single for "Flower," it's one of the B-Sides. It's a hard single to find, though. I tell ya, there's nothing better than old-school Soundgarden. Cornell was at his glass -shattering, pain-peeling best in the late 80s.
