I know this because commercials always tell me to go to my Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana Chevy dealers, and such. Agent of Oblivion is in Fort Wayne, and Alfdogg is somewhere in the state. I want to say Indianapolis or Bloomington. Perhaps Monticello, home of Indiana Beach, on Lake Schaefer. Where are you from? Gary? Hammond? Merrillville?

It does, however, have very high tuition, something like 35,000/yr and a very strong Lutheran Tilt to it's instruction, if that matters to you. The campus is also really beautiful. If I could afford it, I would jump at the opportunity. Very well-respected University

LaPorte is filled with terrible drivers, terrible winding streets, migrant worker wannabe street gangs, and fat whores. I almost forgot the kids in their tricked out Geo Metro's. The sad part is the people that live in LaPorte think their town is awesome, when in reality it is a dump.

I also saw way more wannabes there than I did in LaPorte. LaPorte was full of stoner power metal dorks, a lingering hardcore scene, and a bunch of fuckin' rich kids I wanted to smack.

The thing about LaPorte is that on the outside by driving through rich kids are prevalent, but if you get down to the east side, you get a bunch of slums and a large, poor mexican population, and also a lot of poor people with 6 cars in their yards. Not to dis or anything. I live in a town where 5000 of the 7000 people counted as population live in the Prison. Westvile YAY!

If you drive down LaPorte main drag, Lincolnway, you'll see at least 10 pathetic street gangs occupying a store parking lot or a street corner. All they'll do is crack some mamma jokes. The difference in Michigan City is if you drive down Michigan Boulevard, you'll see actual clusters of gangs hanging out at gas stations and in the street. These people would steal your car and sell it for drugs in a heart beat. Now if you really want to get shot, drive in the wrong part of South Bend on a Friday or Saturday night.

When my brother left to go get some cigarettes they followed him, beat the hell out of him, and managed to stab him in the belly.
