algrim Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Eddie Guerrero "went blank" during his match at the Smackdown taping last night and appeared to be injured. He seemed to have his mind somewhere else. This all seems to be stress related, possibly heightened due to his home being effected by Hurricane Frances. Guerrero has had episodes like this in the past. Credit: PWInsider.com Lord, I hope the guy doesn't have a nervous breakdown.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 The guy needs a rest. Seriously.
Guest T®ITEC Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 He's going to go psychotic. Should be interesting/horrible.
Guest Loss Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Give him three months off to sell an injury and bring him back in a feud with Angle.
Red Baron Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Make a story line out of this. I mean, it'll suck, just like the rest of the product.
Placebo Effect Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Yet people still say that Eddie should still have the title.
humongous2002 Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 I guess Eddie wasn't meant to be in the main event so might as well give either Rey, RVD or Book a chance.
SinToxic Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Maybe he just passed out at a notion that JB-Lo still holds the gilded belt. It's an ugly sight, can't expect an ordinary man not to have such side effects.
Dangerous A Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 It sucks for Eddy too because he can't take anything for pain since he is still a recovering drug addict, which entails not being able to take even the most basic painkilling meds to ease pain. The grind of having to put on ppv quality matches night in and out while not being able to take even tylenol would suck for just about anyone.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 I'm guessing this is the end result of not giving him any kind of a break after the massive amount of blood loss during his first match with JBL.
JoeDirt Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Make a story line out of this. I mean, it'll suck, just like the rest of the product. This made me laugh for some reason. But yeah, give Eddy a friggin' break, it's not like he can't wait a month or two for his HUGE upcoming feud with Luther Reigns...
Guest Shoes Head Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Nothing a good, stiff drink couldn't help!
Australian Pride Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Unless he needs immediate time off I doubt Eddie will be going anywhere until his feud with Reigns is finished. They should do an injury story at the end of that match, and keep Eddie off TV until The Rumble when he can come back as a surprise entrant, where he eliminates Luther, and maybe win and face world champ Angle at WM21.
CBright7831 Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 I guess Eddie wasn't meant to be in the main event so might as well give either Rey, RVD or Book a chance. @ any of them getting a chance in the main event.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Why not have Reigns injure Eddy, then Eddy comesback to fued with Reigns?
algrim Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 Why not have Reigns injure Eddy, then Eddy comes back to fued with Reigns? That sounds like a good idea to me. Give Eddie time to heal physical and mental injuries.
Dark Age Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Why not have Reigns injure Eddy, then Eddy comesback to fued with Reigns? Eddie vs Luther? OUTSTANDING!
Sideburnious Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Man poor eddie. Vince should really interinve and tell him to take time off but that could go both ways. I mean if he stays on he might injure himself or someone else, or go back onto drugs/alcohol to deal with stress. on the otherhand if he was told to take a couple of months off he might blame himself for letting the brand/company down and drown/snort his sorrows away
