Thank God for Dave Sahidi. That commercial was the only positive thing about tonight's show. That was the best wrestling promo this year since WWE's WrestleMania. For the people who saw it (ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO SAW IT) what did you think of it?

Posted

Did, only the people who saw it, really need to be in all caps. It makes you come off as defensive even before anyone replied.

But, even though I did not see it, since it was TNA I am sure it sucked.

Just kidding with you.......

That video was the best thing by far in the HISTORY of TNA.

That is quite the condemnation of TNA right there.

When a VIDEO PACKAGE is the greatest thing a company has accomplished in over two years, it's time for some people to rethink their chosen professions.

^-----This is what I was reffering to.

Regardless, you chose to adopt the statement, silly though it was.

Wouldn't mind seeing the video at all. I was hoping TNA would have it up at their site, but no such luck.

A MikeSC beat me to the jokes anyway, but in not so many words.

It was the best thing they've ever done. I know what that means - but it's the truth. For over 2 years, on a whole, they've pretty much sucked.

If you mean like promowise...that could be a possibility, if you've mean anything that the company has done at all. I say BS.

I personally thought the promo was so so..really not that great as a whole. If you mean the part where they like..did like SD with the different close up warehouse shots in between different action shots and the Victory logo and stuff...that was cool, but the whole building up to it, showing teh history of TNA and all of that...that just kind of sucked.

Sting can be an "iffy". At least he showed up like 6 or so times. Hogan made zero appearences.

I really enjoyed it. My only qualm is not about Hogan or Sting being featured, but rather, the "celebrities" being featured and promoted over the Wrestlers. Other than that, I thought it had really nice pacing, it presented the company in a professional manner, and it was a HUGE step up from what they were doing before in their commercials.

I really liked the commercial. It was way better than any other commercial the TNA has produced (especially that horrible Impact commercial) and make Victory Road seem like a huge deal.

I'm sure its a great video. But its still a video to a PPV where Jeff Jarrett will be headlining and probably squashing his opponents.

Not something the public will be terribly interested in, no matter how many great videos they make for it. Doesn't mean Victory Road will actually be a "huge deal".

You can see it now at nwatna.com/victoryroad

Does that page work? I haven't bothered to check because I really don't get sold on a PPV that has no lineup by a video package.

It's at the nwatna.com/victoryroad page. You know, the big sign that says "Watch the exclusive Victory Road trailer"?

Looks quite good, though was that really Monty Brown at the end? Either that was a really weird camara shot, or he's let himself go since the last show I saw. I thought it was Kamala for a moment...

If you go through it in slow motion, you can see little random flashes of a certain face-painted individual throughout it. They're using subliminal messages to promote Hardy now...
