I'm just numbed by this, it's Mr. Perfect & Elizabeth all over, I will be shocked if this death is due to "outside" circumstances, still too young though. Foley is wrestling Bossman at an amusement park and says something about how he saw Bossman puking after riding the Scooby Doo (a small kid's) ride. Bossman then, instead of denying it, says something to the effect of "hey, I have a weak stomach for those things!" I didn't get it exactly right, but you get the idea. Rest in peace, Ray Traylor. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2004 One of my favorite memories of Bossman was when he came back in 2002 as Vince and Booker T's flunkie and on a Smackdown Booker T came into a room where Vince and Bossman were and declared that his new catchphrase would be "Who?" as an answer to Austin's "What?" catchphrase. Book runs it into the ground a few times and then leaves, and then after a beat of silence... Bossman: "... Who?" When I first read the topic title, I figured it was some unreliable source, such as the one's which reported Vis and Vader dead. My heart sank when I read it was from Meltz. He was one of those guys I grew up admiring as a little mark, and I'll always remember his match with the Mountie. I never expected him to go so soon. 42 years old, and in good shape. Didn't seem to be in the drug scene, as far as I can recall, anyways. Wow...just wow. I've still got one of the old school figures of him, as The Big Bossman, where hardly anything moved, but if you lifted his leg, he dropped the arm. I can't believe that two of the guys involved in that are now gone, and Earthquake has been told he'll pass in a few years. Yet Hogan remains...he is the immortal one you know. I remember being in shock over that as Hulk, along with Andre and Savage, was the hot favourites. If only more had been done with it he could have been a legit headliner for a few years. Bossman was horribly underrated as a heel, he was underrated as a worker for his size and he was always underrated for his work on the mic. I have never actually seen that Rumble...how did the Hogan elimination come about? I'd be remiss not to mention the Twin Towers, one of the best big man tag teams in history, IMO. Guest news_gimmick Report post Posted September 23, 2004 RIP Bossman I'll always remember his best stretch as a wrestler and the most popular he was, from about late 1990 - 1991. He got into awesome shape and was putting on great matches with the Heenan family, culminating at WM 7 with the title match with Perfect. And who can forget the jailhouse match with the Mountie at SummerSlam 91? Oh man I was laughing so hard at the segements afterwards, but I enjoyed the match Bossman put on with the Mountie.
