I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a melon baller than watch this series.

Not a big fan of entertainment, eh?

The melon baller always struck me as a useless appliance.

I guess this will be a pretty offensive series, like I thought.

Even if the Yankees win, their bullpen gave up seven runs and pretty much let Boston back in, when their best starter pitched a GEM. I'd worry about that. They'd better hope that they can go right to Gordon, because I wouldn't put the ball in Sturtze's hand in that situation anymore.

Clutch fielding by Jeter. I guess team leaders can't dive for baseballs.

Scary, scary bitter.

Well, game over, but the Yankees should have won this game a hell of a lot easier than they did. They just threw their best starter, and now we get into the rest of the rotation.

I had to work on the newspaper so I missed the entire game. Caught the last inning on the AWFUL ESPN radio. When the broadcast didn't sound like a transmission within a fighter plane that was going down, it sounded like some intense stuff. I pulled in my driveway as Millar hit into the doubleplay to end the game. Tremendous.

It's funny, every time you think the Sox will somehow do this here come A-Rod, Sheffield, and Matsui to add more runs. Two on, 1 out.

Yeah, if you go by the Grady Little precedent set last year, Francona should be skinned alive for leaving Timlin in there for so long.

Also, anyone else find the concept of AS tossing around the word "bitter" hilarious?

I do

I do as well. But when al gets so desperate to prove that Jeter sucks that he starts nitpicking his every move, it overtakes anything I say.

Millar popped up with the (non Curt) fat man at third. Mueller GIDP.

I think its pretty clear my posts are in jest. Jeter is a very good player. He's just overhyped.

Come on al. We all know that there's no joking when it comes to the Yanks.

In fact, we should all be wearing suits right now to celebrate their win.

Alright... Boston may have lost last night... but the Yankees supposed strength in their pitching (the bullpen) gave up 7 runs in 2 innings last night. If they think they can win again with that work from them, they are mistaken heavily.

And tonight... the son slays the fathers.... Pedro takes down his daddies!

Joking about the Yankees is tantamount to joking in the WWE Folder... DON'T DO IT, PEOPLE!

And along with the suits, you need to have proper haircuts and be clean shaven, because lord knows you can't be a good person if you have long hair and a beard
