Well, it wasn't very successful and it's based on a board game. But it achieved popularity outside of the theater realm so by definition it would be a cult film. It was pretty silly premise: Genius loses his fiance to a freak lawnmower accident. He saves her head and other remains. After drilling his head for an answer (he actually inserts a drill into his cranium), he decides that he will create a new body for the love of life. So he creates super-crack and gives it to some hookers, who explode after taking a hit. He ends up creating his fiance's new body, but she keeps asking "Gotta any Money?" and ends up screwing her victims to death (she dry humps her victims so fast that they explode). Any film with crack cocaine that makes you explode is cool in my book Blood Diner-not on dvd-1986-Two brothers find their insane uncles brain, and instructions on how to awaken an ancient egyptian goddess. However, they have to use the bodies of shapely women to awaken the goddes, so why not use their own diner? Cool spoof/homage to the films of Herschell Gordon Lewis has, among other things, a woman getting knocked off via having her head deep fried, zombies hungry for severed limbs in a pot, and a goose stepping nazi wrestler (I wonder if JBL has ever seen this?) Might not actually be many copies in existence (but it's on IMDB.com) I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her On A Meat Hook, And Now I Have A Three Picture Deal At Disney" - 1993 - A first-time feature-film director (who's also the writer and producer) is casting the lead actress. We meet him talking to his wife about the picture and the process. We meet the actress, Sandy, negotiating with her roommate and talking by phone to her mother. Then, we watch Sandy audition for the director at the call-back session; also attending are the casting director and the production company's sycophants. The wrinkle is that the director is a homicidal misogynist, his wife is tied up and hanging from the ceiling, and Sandy has something in her purse that bodes a rocky future. I did when I first watched it, but I now know more and more people who have seen it. They don't necessarily UNDERSTAND it, which is part of it's charm, but they have seen it. I myself rented it, watched it, and then bought it the very next day. It was too good not to have. The Director's Cut could be good, but having the DVD and watching all the deleted scenes is the same thing. You get a bit more information on the whole thing, but it still leaves the viewer with tons of questions, all of which are great reasons to keep watching the movie over and over. I believe the director's cut has already been in theaters (I have the poster) and there's a director's cut dvd that came out not to long ago in another country. I own quite a few (Crippled Masters, Maniac Cop) and can easily find Slumber Party Massacre,Frankenhooker, I Spit On Your Grave or The Exterminator. A few rather obscure ones in my collection are Offerings (A Halloween ripoff), Test Tube Teens From The Year 2000, and the rare Garbage Pail Kids Movie. Well, it hasn't been released on DVD yet, so I guess that counts Forgot to mention "From Beyond". It's from the director of "Re-Animator" and "Dagon". It's very loosley based on a short story by HP Lovecraft. But it's still a blast. It's also on a total Freudien trip, with phallic symbols gallore. Favorite lines from the movie" "It ate him! Just because people may not rush out to buy it doesn't mean it's unheard of. Another rare gem in my collection is The Mutilator, an early 80's horror flick.
