I wish she would decide what really happened: Acid reflux, band played the wrong song, and Im sure theres other "theories". Next thing you know she'll be blaming aliens, or Snitzky. starvenger 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2004 If you want potential entertainment, 60 Minutes was backstage SNL on Saturday, taping a piece on how SNL is put together and have footage of her leaving the stage and Lorne Michaels' reaction to it all. They ALSO have footage of her dress rehearsal which went so poorly she left the stage crying. If it gets aired, it might be fun to see. -=Mike Talk about Wrestling With Shadows-type luck. I think that, more or less, the official spin is that she had acid reflux, daddy made her lip-sync, the drummer played the wrong song and everybody does it anyways so what's the big deal? Which btw is brilliant because it spins things away from her "I'd never lip-sync" interview, which I'd think is about 50-60% of the reason for the controversy. Ironically enough, I think it's because Ashlee sounds more real, haha. Her vocal range isn't perfect, she sounds scratchy at times...hell, she might as well be the female Rod Stewart.
