There's quite a lot of them because of that law that you had to use a provisional if you didnt feel like traveling around the county to find the place where you were allowed to vote. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Why was Ohio called? It seems there are still a lot of votes to count and everytime they get closer to 100% reporting, the gap narrows. Kerry is now down by less then 100,000 votes in Ohio, and this doesn't even count and "provisional" votes or whatever. Actually Mike, Bush has a 128,000 lead vote lead with 96% precincts reporting. And any man and any woman, provided they're of legal age, can get that license. States do not have the right to refuse to acknowledge straight marriages from other states, nor should they. And if a gay man wants to marry a woman, he has every right to do so. If you want to change the rules, you have to make your case --- and your side has clearly failed to do so. I'm supposing you forgot to provide proof for this. Kerry mentioned it in the debate and the fact checker psychos didn't say a word about it, yet they did any other questionable statements. So, no proof then. Got it. I love when anybody is ACTUALLY trying to use that as an argument. Weird, a 15 year old kid needs parental permission to go on a school field trip --- but for abortion? Nah, no need for that. Nope. No need. You ignored the fact that a teenager could be getting raped by a family member. Is she supposed to go to that family member and ask for the right to get an abortion? Wow. Trying to argue for something on an abnormally rare event? Hate to break it to you, but incestual rape is not exactly a massive problem. It'd be like me opposing gay marriage because a few gay men like to molest little boys. A weak argument that one should be too ashamed to make in seriousness. It's a stupid question. He has no ability to overturn Roe v Wade. He could have very easily said that. Why? You wouldn't believe him. Lawsuits slashes the number of vaccine makers from 7 to 2. That and Clinton deciding to have the gov't buy the vaccines, annihilating the profit margin, while not protecting them from lawsuits. No one should be protected from lawsuits. The fear of a lawsuit, ideally, should be enough to make people do the right thing. Clinton does deserve his share of the blame here, no doubt. That is sad, honestly. Why even have an FDA if their approval will not protect somebody from lawsuits based on side effects that are stated in the documentation of the product? Loss, you're blinded your fears. It'd be a waste of my time to try and correct you. I feel for you and hope you can rejoin reality. -=Mike Reality sucks the big one at this point, because the American populace is filled with people who aren't smart enough to think for themselves. Yeah, technically, they're working within the system, but the problem isn't the system, the problem is the mindset. No, the problem is that you don't like the outcome. So be it. But I don't see how you can blame Bush for that when he made it clear repeatedly he is fine with civil unions but he left marriage decisions up to the states. As much as I HATE them for it, the people of those states said ban them. Course looking at the states that banned them...who wants to live in any of those states to begin with?
