St. Gabe 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Why does that upset you so much? It's rather simple logic isn't it? If I didn't vote for him, why should I claim him as MY president? Because you live in a democracy where the guy you didn't vote for can still end up being your President. This is pathetic, please stop. are you a liberal or not?...you are right, this is pathetic. This is why we lost this election. People like you who call themselves democrats who are afraid to fight for something important. When they do fight they decide to fight against their own side. I recall a quopte that went "now it is time for acceptance" Screw that, I'm gonna fight this shit. I can guarantee you that this will spur a counterculture on the same level as that of the 1960's if Bush gets into office, and I will be at the forefront. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Reports are coming in from Ohio, the uncounted ballots appear to be in Dayton. Which is bad news for Kerry. If all those are from Dayton, Kerry will be down between 145,000 and 155,000 votes. He'd have to grab every provisional ballot. Every one of them.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Mike, please DO stop with the UnAmericanism speech. If that's the case, 48% of the country hates America. Anyone will tell you that is rubbish. If you support fighting this obvious outcome, you are, as I figured, trying to tear down the political system because, like a petulant child, you are unable to handle a loss. If the shoe fits --- and with Gabe, it does --- that's his problem. Uh, not really. And if you want to say Bush won the popular vote, then you need to count all of them anyway. I find it cute that you think Kerry has a prayer. -=Mike If George Bush is running this country, then It isn't my country, I didn't vote for him, he's not My President. What, are you going to stamp your feet, jump up and down, and hold your breath until you're blue in the face next? I also like your advocation of massive voter fraud as long as you get your way. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted November 3, 2004 He's fucking up 135,000 fucking votes! You can't tell me that's too fucking close! There's no way he can make that up. I'll say it right now. The Democrats are fucking kidding themselves if they think they have anywhere near 200,000 provisional ballots out there. People in Ohio know how to vote unlike Florida. Styles 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 I'm back from partying with the Delaware GOP. I'm sleep deprived, had too much to drink and have no voice left, but am proudly wearing my "W is STILL the President!" sticker and am planning to line the dorms with the rest of the stickers...I'm just waiting for them to call New Mexico already. The Dems can bitch all they want, but Bush has the popular vote and a clear majority in Ohio, and will have a clear electoral victory. Its different than 2000. I haven't read anything in this thread, and Im too out of it to try. ONE MORE STATE! ONE MORE STATE! ONE MORE STATE!!!!!!!
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Heh. A friend of mine updated his blog thanking everyone for re-electing Bush because it means even more tax cuts for him. I should mention that this kid is in his early 20s and his family recently blew $60K willy-nilly on sports cars. It'd be sad if it wasn't so funny, for me anyway. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 (insanity) Hey, I'm hoping we fight this, too. Four years ago I said that Gore should have given up earlier and left the scene because we could just win the next one. I know better than that now. However, I'm not stupid enough to sit and rant about how the man isn't my President and I'm moving to Canada. You're doing this and I know you're going to be lining up to vote again in the next election, so shut up and admit it. You're being almost as retarded as Mike is when he claims the other side is UnAmerican, but even worse than that, you're giving his retarded arguement credibility. That's all I got to say about that bitch. My Dad is Democrat and he was prepared to vote that witch out. Judge Lee gave a bittersweet concession speech, and annonced she no longer has a mandate. There were a lot of tears over that one, we thought we had it. The toughest loss was Paul Pomeroy losing to Terry Schooley for 23rd State Rep. I was at his house when he came out and said "it doesn't look like it's gonna be our night". Very depressing start to the night, but once the Presidential race took over, our spirits turned.
