dpac Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Was just reading through USA Today, and it announced the cast for the 4th season of VH1's Surreal Life. The cast includes Chyna, Christopher Knight, Verne Troyer (mini me), the Go Go's guitarist, Americas top model and some other person. I am always a sucker for watching this shit. Nothing beats C-level celebs and washed up perfomers talk shit and try relive the glory days.

I think that they're supposed to have at least one reality tv "vet" on the show, and I guess at least one woman who was in Playboy (although I dunno about the people in #3). Season 3 is already over? Somebody tell me who Chris Knight is. Sounds like someone from The Brady Bunch or Eight is Enough ...and from IMDB we get - Peter Brady. I lucked out.

Ed Wood Caulfield Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 It'll probalby be a rapper who had a hit or whose peak was in the 80s/early 90s if they're following the formula of the last 3 seasons (MC Hammer for Season 1, Vanilla Ice for Season 2, Flava Flav for Season 3). The only people I can think of are Biz Markie or that rapper that did "Bust A Move". Can't say I'm looking forward to Season 4 though. The only reason I watched Season 3 was because Flava Flav was in it. I thought Season 1 was okay from the little I saw of it. I enjoyed Season 2 alot, and Flava Flav carried Season 3, IMO. I doubt I will like Season 4 as much as I like the previous seasons, or even like it at all.

He had a mildly sucessful career in the late 80s/early 90s with two Top 40 hits in "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing". And don't forget he was the voice of C.J. the bear in "C.J. And Jamal"!

Everyone in America knew who Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer was, and while I don't think everyone knows who Public Enemy is, or knows who Flava Flav is, I'm sure people reconized what he looked like (the rapper with the clock around his neck and who wore a sweatsuit and had gold teeth). Da Brat was never a big time celebrity. Infact, has she ever had a Top 40 hit? I think only rap fans know who she is. Why would they choose her?
