Guest theanswer1824 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Anyone know if this was pushed back or not? I heard this was supposed to be released some time in November. Any help would be appreciated.
spman Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Nope, No Mercy and the Divas Search DVDs were released this week.
Scroby Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 It was due out the 9th, then the 21st, now its the 16th and its a day before my freaking birthday. I'm not upset that its coming out a day before my birthday but its coming out with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force dvd's and the kids in the hall season 2 dvd's...I'm gonna be spending a lot of money on dvds.
JoeDirt Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 You can preorder it now on bestbuy.com for $16.99...that's the best price I've seen so far.
Taker666 Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 It comes out this tuesday. I'am looking forward in getting it sence I've never seen ECW when it was around.
SuperJerk Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 Best Buy's got it in their ad this week for $16.99, including an RVD action figure.
Matt Young Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I was going to wait on it since there's a lot of otehr stuff I want to buy first, but $16.99 with an RVD action figure is too good to pass up. Do I have to preorder to get the RVD figure?
SuperJerk Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 No, but they're only guaranteeing 6 copies per store. Best Buy does pre-orders?
NoCalMike Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 ...and after watching Survivor Series this past Sunday, I can't wait to get my hands on this DVD.
Guest JJW Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 From Meltzer's update: Best Buy is offering the Rise & Fall of ECW DVD for $16.99. Not only do you get the double DVD set, you also receive a free RVD action figure with your purchase. The figure is perfect for burying in your backyard, just like the WWE has done with it over the past three years.
Guest BurnToShine Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 ...and after watching Survivor Series this past Sunday, I can't wait to get my hands on this DVD. What happened on Survivor Series that related to ECW? Just Tazz's comment during the cruiser match? And... Somebody ordered Survivor Series?!

NoCalMike Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 What I meant was, as bad as Survivor Series was, I am pretty open to watching some non-WWE wrestling programming.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 It's $16.18 currently on DeepDiscountDVD.com. I believe that price doesn't yet include the discount for this weeks 20% off sale, due to it being considered a preorder until Tuesday. Check tomorrow and it will probably be around $13.
Eclipse Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Is there a match list or list of the stuff that the DVD will be including?
haws bah gawd Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 The Best Buy in my area had the DVD with RVD figure last friday. I couldve sworn I read it wasnt going to be out until this week, but I saw it on the shelf and figured I heard incorrectly.

DMann2003 Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Picked it up with my free RVD figure today at Best Buy
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I picked mine up today at Best Buy as well. Cool too see you get a figure with the DVD as well, but damn.......they didn't have many copies.
DMann2003 Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Watching this program makes me want to get out all my old ECW tapes
DMann2003 Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Seeing that crucifixtion angle, given what has happened over the last few years, it's still shocking to see that
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I've never seen the crucifixion in question, but was it more...crucifixing than the B.S. Undertaker/Austin thing that happend in 1998 on Takers "Symbol"?

Undertaker/Austin thing that happend in 1998 on Takers "Symbol"? They had a wooden cross propped up against the ring ropes and had Sandman tied to it with a barbed wire crown around his head
geniusMoment Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I am going to feel like a fucking faggot if I bring an action figure up there, I thought those things were gay when I was 8. You get enough weird looks when buying a wrestling dvd, if I saw someone my age (21) buying an action figure I would consider him the biggest geek in the world.

Still waiting for mine to show up in the mail. Much better to buy it that way.

It's kinda like buying/renting porn when a hot chick is the person ringing you up.
SamoaRowe Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I just bought the ECW dvd at the Best Buy I work at, and the RVD figure is way cooler than I expected it to be. Plus, the lady who rang me out is more than used to me buying nerdy things at the store, so no commentary there. It was funny when I bought the Great American Bash dvd though, because the girl who rang me out was like "Ernie, there is a half-naked WOMAN on this cover!"
Guest Joe_G Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I bought it at Strawberries and got an ECW hat (or skull cap as they call it).
