The Czech Republic Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 We know how it's rough on the board to handle so much traffic, so we're going to try and pack up the show, at least try, so as to ease the stress on the TSM server.
justsoyouknow Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 !!!!! It truly is a glorious day.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Wouldn't it make more sense to turn the OaO Raw threads into a chat room or something? I went into a few of those threads back in the day and most of it is just "OMG IT'S KANE!!!" "Worst ... Raw ... Ever..." "So who's going to job to HHH tonight?"...
Guest Loss Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Thank you! This is much appreciated.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Wait a sec -- you're OUTSOURCING good American posts?!?!...
Guest Loss Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I'm getting a tax break, what can I say?
Lightning Flik Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 ^ that is so American right there.
Big McLargeHuge Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 White people are so overrated.
Guest Coffey Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 If everyone didn't post three word replys when anything happens on the show, it wouldn't be a problem. Not a lot of discussion can occur from repeated replies of "OMG" & "Did you see that?"
NYU Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Coffey, I posted in the new board yesterday that we could use a man like you there. Take that as you will.
Guest Loss Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 If everyone didn't post three word replys when anything happens on the show, it wouldn't be a problem. Not a lot of discussion can occur from repeated replies of "OMG" & "Did you see that?" Words are often overrated. Sometimes, three words says everything that needs to be said. Stretching out "omg did you see that" to 350 words isn't exactly the type of thing that is going to inspire discussion either, in some cases anyway.
The Mandarin Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 How about TSM's Raw thread is made early in the day and then closed at 9:00ET until 11:07, or whenever Raw ends. That would make sense. The ProBoards forum will be the one that's abused with nonsense.
The Amazing Rando Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 But nonsense is fun. Join us thursday for COREY FELDMAN!
The Mandarin Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Make a pinned OAO Glossary with bold font for the words that are being defined, and I will join.
Slayer Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Words are often overrated. Now that we see eye to eye... *g*
Guest Loss Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Words are often overrated. Now that we see eye to eye... *g* Rikishi did it for The Rock, but I did it for Slayer.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 In all seriousness, we enjoyed tremendous success running live AIM chats during the MLB playoffs. It's worth a shot for live wrestling programming.
Sass Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 I'm like lost, and stuff. Loss & Slayer agree on something???!!! WTF???!!! Czech, this is your fault man, somehow. Somehow.
The Amazing Rando Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 TCR... Bringing people together in harmony.
The Czech Republic Posted November 17, 2004 Author Report Posted November 17, 2004 In all seriousness, we enjoyed tremendous success running live AIM chats during the MLB playoffs. It's worth a shot for live wrestling programming. Yeah, those were lots of fun, until everyone started accusing me of being gay and the Mo Vaughn jokes got drilled into the ground. I blame BBCW.
Slayer Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Loss & Slayer agree on something???!!! Well... we both live in states containing the word "-kansas", that's a start Also, Czech is to blame
The Amazing Rando Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 I always thought everyone blamed Hoff, Dutch, or Flyboy. But that was SOOOOOO 2002. Blame Czech.
Guest Loss Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Loss & Slayer agree on something???!!! Well... we both live in states containing the word "-kansas", that's a start Also, Czech is to blame Are you more of a "less filling" or "tastes great" kinda guy?
