Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 What the fuck? I didn't like Psychopathic before, but now it's worse. Violent J said that shit about Satan? Bitch, you have a song about killing Santa Claus, and you don't like Satan? Fuck that fat fuck. P.S. Madrox should just drop Monoxide, he's holding him back. Carnival 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Violent J raps about the devil and hell as does Esham, but J never glorifies that stuff like Esham does. Not saying I have a problem with Esham for that, Jamie Madrox back in HOK days as Mr. Bones was more satanic than Esham I think. It's just rap music, it doesn't bother me. But Violent J and ICP have never been like that. They rap about hell on occasion but never mention that kind of stuff as being positive. They always have mentioned those kinds of things as a negative consequence to actions in life. Hence the whole Carnival = god stuff. So when J signed Esham to Psy he said he couldn't rap about that stuff anymore like it was cool. And Esham changed. Esham even made a song about changing his style called "Redemption" it's lame and totally puts off the vibe that Esham is selling out to J. Plus Violent J's verse on the remix of "Everyone" off the Acid Rain cd says esham is switching his style. "Everybody must die thats why We all deserve another try with the big guy He's so easy to judge all you know is his raps Well maybe theres more to his story perhaps I snap the necks of human being mortals Who think they know whos granted which portals Into the afterlife, fuck dont nobody know Cuz nobody ever return with the info Even so, Esham a grown ass man damnit A product of the wickedry here on man's planet Redemption time cometh, redeem yourself And he no longer speaks of the demons in hell But instead speaks of the demons here on this earth And will always do wicked shit for all that its worth But if you go to hell and you want him there with ya Dont say goodnight cuz the boogieman will get ya" I'll send you some shit, nowadays monoxide blows madrox outta the water, you'll see. Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 HOK was some good shit, and Halfbreed is too (I don't think anyone but you and I will know who these people are though). I couldn't stomach current ICP apparently, that kind of (to quote Violent J) "Happy friendly Hulk Hogan Brutas the Barber Beefcake buuuullshit!" But yes, feel free to send me some shit. I'm interested in that, cause Madrox used to be miles ahead of Monoxide.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I still have some rar'd up files sitting on my comp that I just got too lazy to send you. I think you'll dig the Mr. Bones stuff. Madrox at his finest.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 On a side note, I think Lushus wants to go to KMK with me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> eh not really, I have their first two albums (well first major releases anyway) and kinda got tired of them after those...if I were single, i'd go for all the easy to get strange that haunts those concerts... Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Ya know, as far as her kind go, Kelly Clarkson is generally the lone "pop female" singer i can stand. What helps is her looks, She's cute and sometimes very attractive but doesn't come off like bubblegum factory product. I know a few girls who could pass for Kelly Clarkson's sister. I think she's in the wrong genre anyways. A great voice forced to play the pop route.
Si82 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Well, the Arctic Monkeys managed to outsell Teen pop stadium fillers McFly and top the UK singles chart. I've heard many a worse band, but What. The. Fuck. Still, they're from SHEFFIELD~! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It seems quite bizzare. I just hope it's not them that McFly intend to destroy on the radio this morning. Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 I recently got onto Audioscrobbler. I keep staring at my profile page, though it's not like I don't know to what I've been listening.

Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I think "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas has gone past "Hollaback Girl" on the Worst Song of The Year chart.
gWIL 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Deep Blue Something's (Breakfast at Tiffany's) selftitled is a GREAT album. Very diverse as well.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I love, without apology, "Hollaback Girl". It is literally a song someone would write as a joke.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I can't imagine that Gwen Stefani was actually trying to write the song of the year when she came up with that one...I've gotta believe it was just her and whoever produced it fucking around, wasting time and decided to throw it on the disc... Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I think "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas has gone past "Hollaback Girl" on the Worst Song of The Year chart. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Almost anything recent from the Blackeyed Peas is worst song of the year material. I'd still fuck Fergie though.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I never really followed the Peas...did they really NEED her in the group, does she add something, other than female eye candy that really isn't anything spectacular vocally? were they pretty bland prior to her? Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Which album has had the most samples on it? I use to think it was Paul's Boutique, but I'm not so sure.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2005 Which album has had the most samples on it? I use to think it was Paul's Boutique, but I'm not so sure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Either DJ Shadow's Endtroducing... or the Avalanches' Since I Left You. I think it's the former, but I don't feel like looking it up.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 28, 2005 I've heard Lividity songs that are at least a minute of sick porn and people getting cut up, then less time of the band actually playing.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2005 There are albums which are nothing but sampling, but they can't get officially released.
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 I don't think I've ever seen the Black Eyed Peas mentioned in a greatest rappers of all-time list. The same goes for Fat Joe and N.O.R.E.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 I go to my dad's tonight for dinner, and he's got a real sick selection of Blues music recently, which I want to get into. He lent me some bar band CD that was quite odd and hard too describe. The band consists of five members; guitarist, bassist, drummer, saxophone player and a bagpipe player. The music is like, country/funk/folklore combined, and is really all over the place.

Carnival 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 Yep I got in, 2 tickets for 80 bucks. Which isn't bad cuz they were 26 plus ticketmaster anal rap fee of 5. So 31, and I payed 40. There was a lot of people wanting tickets, and we were thinking about just leaving. Then a group of guys pulled up in a car and flashed some tickets. The concert wasn't all that great. But it was decent.

Carnival 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 I enjoyed the one in Lincoln, it just depends on what songs they do, they played a bunch of shit last night. Only about 3 or 4 songs I really like in a 2 hour set. Not a good percentage.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 My tickets just came in the mail for the G. Love and Special Sauce/Blackalicious show at the Orpheum in Boston on the 26th of this month. I'm sorta excited to go. I don't know much about Blackalicious, but I've heard good stuff about them and I'm a G.Love fan. Should be a fun show.
