Although Mike was extremely annoying and ill-informed, now that's he's quit posting here CE isn't quite the same.

Perhaps it's predictable but I would have thought that to any even minded person that Bush's presidency is already full of scandal, with him waging an illegal war, killing tens of thousands of civilians and torturing (illegally detained)prisoners in the process.

Bush's big second term scandal will probably involve Dick Cheney. That guy's too big an asshole to get out of this term scott free.

Wishful thinking? You betcha.

Justice? Absolutely.

People, whatever you do, don't think about that statement for more than five seconds or else blood will shoot out your nose and you'll have the sudden urge to gouge your eyes out with spoons.

Anyways.

Pssst. Dirty little secret: Due to the powers of the President, this was a legal war. May not have been justified, but it was legal. Sorry to break it to you.

...and I wonder why Bush won the election...

Ain't that the pot calling the kettle black...

At least Mike could be said to have been well informed on many of the discussed topics.

Mike was actually pretty well-informed. He slightly bridled me because he often just posted tiny, snippy sentence-long barbs that didn't offer much to the conversation. Of course, that's the modus operandi for many posters here.

Nah, fuck Bush. He has nothing to offer. Nothing. Then again some people just love being lied to. Which he and his handler Cheney have done. There's a Kamala joke in there somewhere...

I just lost 5 IQ points by reading this post of yours.

I'd say all but two people who post in here regularly are as bad or worse than Mike was.

Probably you and Jobber post the most things worth a shit, I think. I don't mind some of EricMM and Tyler's posts. Watching any partisan political bickering in here is like watching someone pick their nose in traffic, though.

And here I thought I'd be a voice of reason.

...oh well, least I have the support of kkk. kkk...hey? where'd he go? kkk?...

I think I understand it, too. I'm probably not any more or less partisan than I used to be, but I feel like the moderate I claim to be now that I no longer have some guy on my back posting umpteen threads of vitriolic flame about every little politically-driven shady move anyone in my party has pulled, under generic titles like "This doesn't look good" or "These people need a clue", followed of course by round-robin arguement of said person saying "I can't believe you're going to defend this!" every time I point out that this is not the first time such a stunt has been pulled, and not the only party to do so.

CE is so much better now. Plus, I get to beat on the INXS' and C-Bacons more often.

No, you don't.

I'm probably not any more or less partisan than I used to be,

You're still the same punk-ass bitch you always were.

but I feel like the moderate I claim to be

That's because you live in California. Hell, John Kerry would be considered a moderate-to-right Senator in that state.

now that I no longer have some guy on my back posting umpteen threads of vitriolic flame about every little politically-driven shady move anyone in my party has pulled,

What, you're afraid to debate and just want to stand on some imaginary soapbox and spout your dumb-ass views?

under generic titles like "This doesn't look good" or "These people need a clue", followed of course by round-robin arguement of said person saying "I can't believe you're going to defend this!"

I can't believe you're using this as your defense you fucking twat.

every time I point out that this is not the first time such a stunt has been pulled, and not the only party to do so.

That's because wishy-washy "Everybody does it" arguments are not worth the time to read.

CE is so much better now. Plus, I get to beat on the INXS' and C-Bacons more often.

I bet you'd like to beat on INXS and C's Bacon, you faggot.

=-kkk

Who will NEVER do this dissection of a post again. Ugh... :(
