Guest Dazed Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 At the end of Monday’s RAW, both Edge and Chris Benoit had their hands raised iin victory after the Triple Threat main event against Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. What will be the fallout from last week’s controversial ending and what is the status of the most prized possession in all of RAW? The upcoming RAW will also mark the fourth and final time a member from Randy Orton’s Survivor Series Team will serve as RAW General Manager. Chris Jericho finally gets his crack at running the show, and what will he have to say about the status of the World Heavyweight Championship? He’s already announced that Trish Stratus will go one-on-one with Lita with the Women’s Championship on the line. Lita was able to get the best of Stratus in tag team competition last week, but can she do it again when the title is on the line? Also, Maven shocked WWE fans when he brutally attacked Eugene after the lovable Superstar had helped successfully defend the World Tag Team Championship with William Regal. Maven was upset that Eugene eliminated him from the battle royal earlier in the night, but how will he justify slamming poor Eugene’s head into the steel steps? It will be the last week before General Manager Eric Bischoff returns from his one-month long vacation, so anything can happen. Tune in to RAW Monday (9/8 CT on Spike TV) to see how it all goes down. bob_barron Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 OMG! MICK FOLEY IS OGING TO BEO N THE SHOW TOBIGHT???? OMG CACTUS JACK@!~
Guest Phenom Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 My prediction: Benoit vs. Edge vs. Jericho...in a Ladder Match....at New Year's Revolution! Seriously, they need to start making matches NOW.
BHK Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Well, even if it's only a transition reign, I'm marking if Jericho wins the title. Also, there has to be reasoning for this. Logically, if they're building to Orton/HHH for Mania, Orton would be GM last yes? I'm really hoping we're given a solid reason as to why Christ got to go last.
AndrewTS Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 OMG! MICK FOLEY IS OGING TO BEO N THE SHOW TOBIGHT???? OMG CACTUS JACK@!~ Gee, I hope Mick shows up, so he can finally have that long-awaited Whore-Off against Ric Flair. Shame on you nik, for not putting "Raw Is Jericho" in the thread title. While it's a nice thought for Jericho to win the title, it makes no sense, and you know he'd not hold onto it for long, so I really don't see the point. Either he'd just lose the title to HHH again, or it would be transitioned to Orton in some fashion (assuming HHH/Orton for Mania still).
RHR Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 OMG THE AMAZING RANDO IS HERE! MARK OUT PLZZZZZZZ!!!! <swoons like a 12 year old girl around...well...Randy Orton> Better yet... <swoons like rhr around...well...Randy Orton>
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 After spending the last 7 months in ROH; would Foley even WANT to come back to WWE? *He gets paid per apperence* Of course he would. Foley: I LOVE THIS COMPANY Other Promotion: We can double your pay Foley: I LOVE THAT COMPANY!
AndrewTS Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 That's better, nik. After spending the last 7 months in ROH; would Foley even WANT to come back to WWE? Hm, I didn't know he was. But yeah, he would.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 That's better, nik. After spending the last 7 months in ROH; would Foley even WANT to come back to WWE? Hm, I didn't know he was. But yeah, he would. I know. I said he was a money mark. It's just he's having a ball with real workers and real competent creative forces and is working his dream angle right now against another legend and is in love with Samoa Joe and Punk.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I'm thinking that HHH may not win back the title tonight. After all, "Blade: Trinity" is coming out very soon (if it's not already out, I don't remember), and he may want to do promotional tours about the movie. Sure, he wasn't THAT major a character in the movie, but he still might want to help promote the movie.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Since most wrestling fans have never seen a RoH show, I'd say he'd enjoy a nice WWE paycheck. "Real workers?" Uh no offense, but I'm guessing Foley has a TAD more respect for guys like Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, William Regal, and Triple H then CM Punk and Samoan Joe. But on topic, I'm thinking... Jericho books a rematch tonight for the title. Triple H Vs. Edge Vs. Benoit...with special guest fourth addition to the match...CHRIS JERICHO! And Bischoff returns early or something, due to all the "Chaos!"
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I'd mark if Bischoff no-showed next week and they literally had a "The Inmates run the aslyum" show where everyone assumes leadership, HHH and Batista and Flair leave early because they dont want to wrestle. The title situation is still unsettled so Edge and Benoit refuse to leave each other's sights so they dont run off with the belt so they walk together holding the title, even when they go to the bathroom and Edge has to shit while Benoit only needs to piss so we get the visual of Edge squatting holding the title with one hand and trying to pull down his tights. There's alot of comedy gold there.

Uh no offense, but I'm guessing Foley has a TAD more respect for guys like Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, William Regal, and Triple H then CM Punk and Samoan Joe. Then why has Foley been pimping the hell out of Punk and Joe to Vince over the last months and called Joe Punk II one of the greatest matches he ever seen?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 The point I was making with the "Would Foley come back" was that he's been in a environment where everything is clicking with great wrestlers putting on great matches, where everything is organized and there is no political turmoil. If it weren't for the money; I honestly Doubt Foley would bother with WWE. He hates the direction they are in and thats why he gets complete control of his storylines when he's there. It wasn't a ROH > WWE statement. It was a WWE is run by monkeys statement.
razazteca Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 So does Mick Foley have any more books to shrill for tonight?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 he did a children's book recently but it did well without much WWE promotion. He might not even need WWE that much anymore.
razazteca Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 So if Foley is on a talent scouting mission for the powers that be in the WWE......when will I get to see Joe Punk get squashed by Snitsky or Kane?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Never. Joe and Punk respect wrestling to much to do that. Work 2 minute squashes or 60 minute ***** matches? Yeah. It's a tough decision for the two.
razazteca Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Joe could pretend to one of many relatives of the Rock and Punk could be like the next Brother Love or something.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 You've never seen CM Punk have you. Brother love...fat red guy in white suit with annoying voice....I'm not seeing the connection.
Boner Kawanger Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 This is a OAO Raw Thread of QUESTIONS~! Has the one-note joke so far actually convinced people Foley is coming back? Will Jericho book a four-way match for the title? Why would Jericho book HHH in any sort title match? Seriously, that's really bothering me. Every other post in the other thread seems to think that Jericho is going to put HHH in a title match. Even if it is fair, why would Jericho do it? He hates HHH (storyline-wise). HHH has screwed the faces enough without ANY power. Tonight needs to be the night he finally gets his ultimate comeuppance. And no, a Finisher Party on him doesn't count. He needs to be outsmarted at every turn by Jericho for this angle to have worked. Won't ever happen. Or will it? INTRIGUE~!
Exslade ZX Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Never. Joe and Punk respect wrestling to much to do that. Work 2 minute squashes for a lot of money or 60 minute ***** matches for less? Yeah. It's a tough decision for the two. Fixed. Now of course, you may be right...but hey, Paul london did it, did he not? Hey..I love wrestling...and I'm trying to get into it, and I believe if I had the choice between being able to have ***** star matches, for a small payoff (money wise) even though it might 'make me feel better inside' (Damn, that sounds so gay >_>) or having small, Heat/Velocity..even dark, matches in WWE, for more money. I'd choose the latter. And hey...I do respect wrestling. Now I'm not saying you're wrong, because yea..you're probaly right. But I don't believe..'They respect wrestling to much' is a valid arguement..because who knows? Really.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I think we all know Vince will override Jericho anyways. I honestly think Jericho will go "Vince will over ride me anyways, so I'll go ahead and put HHH in the damn match and save him the air time that belongs to me"
razazteca Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Has the one-note joke so far actually convinced people Foley is coming back? No Will Jericho book a four-way match for the title? Yes Why would Jericho book HHH in any sort title match? Maybe
Guest Fook Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Since Raw is Jericho, the real question is, who's going to be the guest on the Highlight Reel?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Vince should be on the Highlight. I'm shocked they haven't done that yet.
Guest Fook Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I'm shocked they haven't had anyone destroy the obscenely expensive Jeritron 5000.
razazteca Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 JJ Dillion should be on the highlight reel.
haVoc Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I'm shocked Dave hasn't reported a four way ladder match yet.
SuperJerk Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Speaking of ladder matches... I'm really hoping we're given a solid reason as to why Christ got to go last. Jesus ALWAYS main events.
