i just recently started watchin this show on tbs after not paying attention to it what so ever while on CBS . Suprisingly it has instantly become one of my favorite shows, I love all the main characters, Frank being the most. Im thinking about asking/getting myself the first 2 seasons on dvd now. anyone else a fan?

I too got hooked on them through TBS. Even though I still won't watch it on CBS for some reason (timing, I guess), I love the TBS-run ELR.

I never regularly watched it on CBS, for whatever reason. However, I've started to watch it more regularly in reruns and I like it.

my dad likes the show so i've watched it a few times. There have been some good moments but i don't really like it that much. Not sure why.

I liked it for a while at least, and then I noticed almost every episode is exactly the same.

 

And the characters, especially Romano, just become so damn annoying to the point I couldn't watch anymore.

It's crap now, but I used to watch it in syndication. Ray gets annoying, his wife is too bitchy, but the parents are money. I also like how the kids didn't use to play a focal role in the series.

I don't, but only because I refuse to watch anything that's syndicated between 6 PM and 8 PM not named "The Simpsons" or "Seinfeld".

I used to love Romano's stand up act as well as his appearances on Dr. Katz, but, as with most comics who move to sitcoms, the transition of the material from routine to sitcom = teh suck. Although, I must admit, I'm biased against most canned sitcoms as it is.

 

Plus, the wife is a bitch.

I like the show, I didn't start watching until syndication. There are episodes though where Marie is so evil that it's not belivable that Raymond's loyalty would be to her over his wife (which it clearly is).

The wife is hot, but is disgustingly skinny now. I saw a recent picture of her, and she doesn't weigh more than 100 pounds. She claims to only eat cabbage soup and be extremely hungry. Yeesh.

they only thing ever to come out of that series that I like was when Peter Boyle gave his speech from Taxi Driver to Ray, and that's mostly because Taxi Driver's my favorite movie
