Guest Trivia247 Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Reported by Dougie Nunny on 12.23.2004 Entertainment website Aintitcoolnews.com is now reporting that former WWE Champions Rock and Triple are both under consideration for the lead role of the planned "Masters of the Universe" movie based on a Mattel Toy Line. According to the site, both wrestler's names came up during the discussion of the role of He-Man. The producers intend to make direct offers for the lead role, instead of going through auditions. Steviekick Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 HHH has the look, but Rock is the better actor. I predict the Rock will get the role which will lead to HHH getting a 14 month title reign as a sympathy gift from Steph.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 If the Rock is smart; he lets HHH has this role in exchange for complete creative control of his character for three months so rock can rub those people he wants and do the Memphis booking he's been begging for.
Lil' Bitch Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 HHH should get this one hands down.
iliketurtles Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Honestly...Triple H would be better for this role.
Youth N Asia Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Anything to get HHH off tv for x amount of time. Although neither one of them will get it.
Guest Dazed Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 I love the "Triple H Challenges Rock To A Shoot Fight For Role In Movie (>>)" link at the bottom of the article. Something of a non-story anyway; "Here's a few names that are apparently mooted for the He-Man part". So, uh, total rumours really.

If we were only that lucky. If it does happen, how long do you think he'll be referred to as HHHe-Man on this board?
Slayer Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 We already had a MOTU movie... one was enough
Zack Malibu Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 They're about two years too late in rejuvenating the MOTU fad.
Guest Trivia247 Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 only two years thought the MOTU was at least 10 years old maybe 15

Guest Phenom Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 We have our first match for WrestleMania 21 right here!
cawthon777 Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 We have our first match for WrestleMania 21 right here! At least it's a better reason to feud when you compare it to "Edge stole Booker T's Japanese shampoo commercial". Snitsky could be Beast Man. Who is a good fit for Orko?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Rock/HHH in Hollywood would work.

Hunter's Torn Quad Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Lita can be Teela Foley would make a good Man-At-Arms Stephanie can be Evil Lynn I think Snitsky looks more like Webstor There was a webpage, now defunct, that actually compared Triple H to He-Man. It was pretty funny.
Guest Tjhe CyNick Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Awesome, He-Man!!!!!!!! Really HHH looks more like He-Man, but what value does Hunter's name have? So if Rock wants the part, and the money is right, it'll go to him. But I'm pulling for Hunter, if this is going to be a major deal then he'll be off for a few months, which would be sweet.
Guest Duncan Eternia Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Being the top He-Man mark on this board, I'm just glad a new He-Man movie is getting made. Let's hope it's better than the original. Happy Holidays everyone....I hope you all get 5 star stuff!!!
haws bah gawd Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 I couldn't buy the Rock as He-Man. Call me a racist if you want, but He-Man was always a big blonde white guy, and out of the two, HHH fits the role the best. The Rock is hands down a better actor, but HHH LOOKS the role, and I would rather see it go to him. Only question is who would play Prince Adam? Would they have he and He-Man be the same size like in the original cartoon, or cast a short, skinny guy to be Adam?
cawthon777 Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Only question is who would play Prince Adam? I'm laughing my ass off just thinking about seeing Triple H wearing the uber effiminate pink and white Prince Adam costume. On a side note, what's with all the Dolph Lundren movies being redone. First Punisher, now this? What's next, Rocky IV?
Eclipse Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Well, looks like HHH is starting to get that acting boner that The Rock started off with years ago. What would be cool is if HHH left to do this, therefore being hypocritcal about what he had to say about Rock, and also the fact that he'd be off TV for a while..
Lightning Flik Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Actually, funny thing is, I wouldn't mind Hunter playing He-Man. Heck, I'm of the mind that he probably could pull off a good Prince Adam. Don't know, just for some reason, I do.
Guest Brian Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 I'd imagine Triple H's head would explode if he got this role. Either from steroids or ego.
1234-5678 Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 HHH will have to get in better shape, he is kinda fattening up these days.
Guest Trivia247 Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 He would have to hope none of these insane Wrestling fans don't see the movie, people who never see him before probably can buy him playing a muscle bound goodguy. But for us and those fans that is a stretch. Though I don't See the Rock at all in the role... I Do however See the Rock in the rumored Next CONAN movie.
