And the Dudleys got over by putting women through tables.

Lita must go thru tripled stacked flaming tables also the special ring girl, time keeper, make up girl, and maria the announcer need to fear for their lives.

If they could give Shelton an actual unique personality and Hassan can keep the crowd into his promos they could have a pretty good feud for the IC belt. I'd imagine it couldn't be worse than bland Shelton vs bland Maven in the feud for no reason.

What's worse:

1) The crowd chanting "USA" in favor of Mohammed's non-American opponent (Jericho, Benoit, Tajiri, ect.)

or

2) The crowd chanting USA with no Americans in the match (Benoit vs. Fit Finley, Owen vs. Bret, Bret vs. Yoko, La Rez vs. Edge/Benoit, ect.)

My personal Fav. is Bret v. Owen. In MSG at WM X. What a bunch of fukin morons huh?

Its bad enough when there both foreginers, but when THEY HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME, something has to click in there heads.

I didn't really have a problem with Coach commentating, if it wasn't for the fact that he's supposed to be a major heel. His commentating put more focus on the wrestlers as opposed to the usual JR and King playing off each other. It was a breath of fresh air, even if that air was a little tainted since Coach is supposed to be heel all the way.

Oh, and I guess since I missed the first 90 minutes of Raw, I'll have to download at least the first hour to catch this Batista/Benoit match, since reading the recap of it makes me think that Benoit has worked his midget magic with Pimp Daddy Dave.

Someone give Grenier the title NOW. God he rules.

Indeed. Nothing screams main eventer quite like screwing up the finish to the match by forgetting to kick out.

I'm personally waiting for when he takes on someone like Jericho or Benoit, and the crowd is chanting "USA".

I'm personally waiting for Hassan to do SOMETHING to a wrestler instead of interrupting their promo time or something. Seriously, if I were the WWE, I'd definitely be having Hassan screw somebody's shit up while doing his American-bashing on the side.

One more out-burst like that sir, and I'll send Sylvain 'round your house to lay a botched nip-up all over your face.

I watched a Bret vs Yoko cage match from MSG a few months ago and wouldn't you just know it. Really loud USA chants.

For being so smart the MSG fans sure don't know where their wrestlers come from. I suppose it could be argued that chanting USA would get the non USA wrestler off of his game -- Wait, it just can't be explained.

The hypnotizing power of the USA chant never ceases to amaze me.

I think chanting "USA" at any time is bad.

So very true.

Benoit is Batista is pretty fun. Not as good as Benoit vs A-Train but Benoit and Batista played their roles well. Batista comes out of this looking pretty powerful.

He does, but I think Viscera did more damage to the Crossface by spending 35-40 seconds in it after taking a German suplex on his big ol' fat noggin than Batista did by immediately countering the move.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I honestly think they should put Trips back out on his own as a solo and put a new guy in Evolution with Batista as the main focus. The big dude with friends is always a popular stable idea, and HHH doesn't do well as the big dude because it had been established for years that he didn't need friends to be a threat or make his promos for him.

I simply cannot comprehend the thinking of the writers re: the Kane/Lita business. I mean nonsensical face/heel turns is one thing for lazy writers to use but here they are making a RAPIST the face!

And what happens to Matt Hardy when he comes back? Will he be a heel for trying to break up their marriage and win back Lita?

Well, in his defense...I believe that spot was actually planned. As Sheltkon did one after it, and Conway chewed him out about it.

although the forgetting to kick out thing was funny as hell. Especially when pretty much, everyone, in the crowd knew who didn't kick out as they just booed the shit out of him.

I couldn't agree more ... people a lot smaller than Batista have fought through the pain longer. People a lot less strong than Batista have fought through the pain longer. People that were a lot more beaten up than Batista fought through the pain longer.

Yet it was only last night that the finisher was destroyed? Give me a break.

Oh and I hope this angle doesn't get Hassan assaulted on the street. You'd like to think most people are smart enough to draw the line between acting and reality, but if one of these Hassan live appearances takes place I dunno in West Virginia, or South Carolina, hopefully there is ample security to get him around.

So I take it that because I live in West Virginia, I couldn't possibly fathom that Muhammed Hassan is in all actuality Mark Magnus, someone playing an Arab-American on a television program? And further, that I would no doubt assault him because he looks foreign even though he is American. Thanks, I forgot I was like that.

The HHH/Otron match could have at least been good had Orton not completely no-sold the entire middle portion of the match. He had his ribs/midsection worked over pretty extensively, then proceeded to bodyslam, cross-body, irish whip, throw clotheslines, and RKO without so much as wincing. That completely killed the match for me. Batista/Benoit and Jericho/Edge were much more enjoyable.
