Guest Dazed Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 It's been merged with General Wrestling to create one Super Forum.
Steviekick Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I also noticed that the Fantasy Wrestling folder has been merged with it as well.
The Amazing Rando Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 They're making the board shorter so people can get to HD and LSD quicker. That's what TSM is all about: Getting to LSD quicker.
Guest Loss Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I'm hoping we can eventually get the WWE, Puro and TNA threads as well, and ban talk of tape trading, at which point we'd have one wrestling folder.
Guest uyaljg Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I merged some cheese with some ham and made a nice sandwich. It worked out well.
Steviekick Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I'm hoping we can eventually get the WWE, Puro and TNA threads as well, and ban talk of tape trading, at which point we'd have one wrestling folder. It would be ridiculously glommed though.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I merged some cheese with some ham and made a nice sandwich. It worked out well. Low carb people and their "Sandwiches" without bread... Oh...you probably just forgot to mention the bread..but still the point is taken. "I want a turkey sandwich without the bread".. 1. sandwich - noun - two (or more) slices of bread with a filling between them. Thats not a sandwich. /rant off
Highland Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Well, it looks llike there won't be a need for a TNA folder much longer.

So there was no need to mention the bread, it goes without saying.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 This is all part of my wrestling folder final solution.
MrRant Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I demand then that you create a folder of some worth. BRING BACK THE FOOD FOLDER~!
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I've got a plan in the works.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 nobody else wants a tobacco folder, Agent.
SamoaRowe Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 The mergings suck. I, for one, would like to protest the removal of the fantasy folder.
Guest Loss Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Why? Just post them in General Wrestling. More people are likely to look at that folder anyway, so you might get some feedback.
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 The mergings suck. I, for one, would like to protest the removal of the fantasy folder. Does there even need to be an actual fantasy folder? Couldn't you, like, just make one up with your imagination?
Golgo 13 Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I don't care too much about the removal and merging of the folders, to a point. Hell, I suggested it some time ago, but I still think WWE should remain seperate from the inevitible General/TNA/Puro/Indy/MMA/Old School/Fantasy Booking/Polls, Etc super folder. The whole thing will be a mess if WWE were thrown into the equation. By the way, Loss, I don't care one bit about the Tape Trading folder, but why do you want to see all talk about that kind of stuff banned outright?
Guest Loss Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Because the folder doesn't get much traffic anyway, it's very easy to fall into pissing contests about bad dealers and I don't want anyone on this board getting found out by WWE for it.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I have the 1999 Royal Rumble on tape. I think Vince owes me for that one.
King Cucaracha Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 So, in two years time, will weone wrestling folder, one pop culture folder, one boards stuff folder, one archives folder and one hosted forums folder? Then, if wrestling become pop culture again, we can merge the pop culture and wrestling folders. And seeing as the board is a wrestling board, we merge the wrestling/pop super folder with the board stuff folder. And since archives are part of the board... Well, you get the point. And for the record, that super wrestling folder is going to be cluttered beyond belief.
Guest Loss Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 It's not going to happen. I was outvoted. Wrestling folders will be as follows: - WWE - General Wrestling (Old School, TNA, Misc Promotions, Puroresu, FB & Columns)
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Merge everything into Music and HD
The Czech Republic Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Remember when Hardcore Discussion was a wrestling folder?
Guest Fook Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Remember when it was called No Holds Barred? And LSD was purely for porn? Ah, memories...
SamoaRowe Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Why? Just post them in General Wrestling. More people are likely to look at that folder anyway, so you might get some feedback. It is unorganized and more likely to get lost in the shuffle. That's why. General Wrestling nothing more than a giant clusterfuck now. There was nothing wrong with how it was before.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 You are free to do a thread bump after a day or two so you can make sure your efed gets seen
SamoaRowe Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 You are free to do a thread bump after a day or two so you can make sure your efed gets seen Thanks for the tip.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I've just noticed that it takes me only two mouse wheel scrolls to get from the top of the board to the bottom. I am pleased by this improvement and wish to see the work continue.
