JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Who are guys that are the most average of all time? Average ring skills, average mic skills, average in how they did during their careers, average crowd receptions...who is/are the averagest of them all?
Brocklock 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Probably way too early, but Randy Orton is about all I can think of right now.

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Val Venis is one of the better WWE wrestlers. Could be a great main eventer.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 I always saw Hardcore Holly as being the epitome of averageness.

Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 El Samurai, from what I've seen of him, strikes me as rather average.
edotherocket 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 In terms of appearance, American Dragon looks like the default guy in most wrestling game's CAW mode.
Guest drdrainoscott Report post Posted January 8, 2005 I would say Koko B. Ware: Never really a jobber but never really a star. Not too bad of a worker but nowhere near great. He was in the same exact role for almost ten years....
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Jim Neidhart, you can't really hate him but what did he ever do?
spman 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 John Cena, ok the crowd loves him, but everything else he does is totally average.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Cowboy Bob Orton
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 John Cena, ok the crowd loves him, but everything else he does is totally average. I'd say he was a bit above average in 2003, but in 2004 he slipped straight into mediocrity. David Young is really average also.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Mike Rotundo-Pretty average wrestler IMO Ivory Jim Neidhart Al Green (Remember him from WCW? And no, not the singer) Hack Myers Mr. Hughs
Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 8, 2005 "Diamond" Dallas Page, although he had a few good matches, and his finisher was INSANELY over. His promo's were basic and bland, and although he didn't botch a lot of spots, his matches didn't consist of a lot of complexity. Of course, they didn't need to. He got his point across, and was good at selling ribs that'd been beat by the nWo for forty-six straight weeks.

Brocklock 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Alright I thought of my good choice now Jeff Jarrett Although he's been over a little during periods of his career his ringwork has always been decent at best and his promos have ranged from solid to boring. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Alright I thought of my good choice now Jeff Jarrett Although he's been over a little during periods of his career his ringwork has always been decent at best and his promos have ranged from solid to boring. That IS a good one. Jarrett is incredibly average.
deancoles 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 The Killer Bees were pretty average, the only thing that stood out was the mask switching thing and Brunzell's dropkick.

Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 The WWE is full of average guys. They do have some royal stinkers(like John Heidenreich) but most of them can put together a decent match. The problem is there are so many average wrestlers that we start calling them sucky. People like Orton fall into this category.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Orton (and Jarrett) won world titles, making them above average in how they did in their careers.
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I gotta agree on Jarrett.
genius33 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 triple h (had to open that can o' worms, can't live without triple ha nd average in the same sentence...)
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted January 9, 2005 My pick is Bulldog. Jarrett is a good one tho. Guys like Billy Gunn, Hardcore Holly and Koko B Ware sucked. Average isnt suck. Orton bumping and in-ring charisma make him way above average, Ditto with Cena as it goes for his Selling.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Tito Santana. He was decent, but he was great in pretty much every category and aside from two IC Titles he was usually the guy you got to put over the new guy getting a push. Painfully average.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 10, 2005 Koko B. Ware didn't suck. He was one of the most over Jobbers I have ever seen in the WWF.
natey2k4 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 I think... Jim Powers is an okay example. But my number one pick is actually one of my favourites, Alex Wright... He was only as good as his opponents (usually).

He was a pretty good wrestler last I remember - may be he just needed someone to work off with, but he was still a good wrestler. Example: vs. Bret Hart Example: vs. Owen Hart
Guest Prof_Plague Report post Posted January 10, 2005 I think... Jim Powers is an okay example. But my number one pick is actually one of my favourites, Alex Wright... He was only as good as his opponents (usually). Wright was ok. I honestly never saw the hype. I knew WCW for a long time in the mid- 90s tried to make him out to be one of the greatest techical wrestlers in their company. Wait...shoot. I should take that back. By comparison, he was one of the more talented wrestlers.
