Dionicio Castellano (original Psicosis in WCW) will be in Fresno on Sunday for the Royal Rumble, getting a tryout, probably before the show starts.

I liked Psicosis in WCW...never understood why WCW didn't give him a bigger push, considering how well (relatively) Misterio and Ultimo Dragon did.

 

Still, even if Psicosis gets signed I'm sure they'll hype him up with a few promos, give him a couple token wins over guys like Nunzio, and then have him disappear to Velocity until his contract runs out, or he gets fired for some reason.

I never really liked psychosis. I would rather have La Parka in the fed rather than psychosis, but I'll take what I can. Some lucha libre shit would be a change for WWE.

yeah...... psychosis has to keep the hair. Don't make him cut HIS hair WWE. They keep jacking wrestlers' hair up. The only three that still have long hair are HBK & HHH (politicians), and RVD. (Booker T too if you count his hair as long).

With all the footage of Rey Mysterio vs. Psychosis that they have on their DVDs (there's about four full matches they've released, IIRC), they're nuts if they don't let these two go all out if they're going to continue their rivalry.

If WWE does sign him, I wouldn't mind seeing Psychosis win the Cruiserweight title in one of his first matches and have a feud with Rey Mysterio leading up to WrestleMania. Give them the opening match and they should be able to get the crowd pumped.

They should try to sign Amazing Red, I've been watching some classic TNA Wrestling on ESPN Classics, and he is crazy. Him and Rey would have classics.

Red hasn't been the same post-knee injury, and actually wasn't resigned by TNA because of it (partly...the fact they had nothing for him also helped). Truthfully, as over as he was and as good of matches he had (my favorites being where he teamed with Jerry Lynn, and that 6 man with the SAT's vs. Triple X), I never liked him much. He was sloppy more often than not. No personality or promo skills. He just had that underdog charisma.
