strummer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Christ, the crowd has been DEAD for the whole night. Sign of the times for the NBA or just the lack of star power for the contests?
Exslade ZX Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Christ, the crowd has been DEAD for the whole night. Sign of the times for the NBA or just the lack of star power for the contests? Well they did decide to do it in Denver... Â >_>
GreatWhiteNope Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I'M DYING HERE Â Chris Anderson is teh suxorz
The Electrifyer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I find Kenny and Charles making fun of him to be worth it.
Styles Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Chris Anderson making the most of his time.
Exslade ZX Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I'M DYING HEREÂ Chris Anderson is teh suxorz Heh..funny thing is...didn't he pretty much do the same thing last year..
The Electrifyer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Shit... these guys are pretty creative!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 That last dunk was a 5/10 for Amare and 100/10 for Nash's head pass.
strummer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Nash! Crowd finally getting into an event.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Chris Anderson takes 15 attempts for 2 dunks, and neither were that good looking. Â Amare's however had me marking like a bitch. Nash can do anything on the court! "Thats the baddest motherfucker I've ever seen in my life!"
Exslade ZX Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 That was just hot. Even better when I realized he did it off the backboard first as I missed that the first time.
Guest Flyboy Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Josh Smith's with Kenyon was still the best dunk so far followed by J.R. Smith's first dunk.
Styles Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 This has been a hell of a dunk contest!
iliketurtles Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Nash/Stoudamaire Dunk = AWESOME.
Styles Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Steve Nash is like an evil genius with these...
The Electrifyer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Amare turned into Chris Anderson for that last dunk.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Amare turned into Chris Anderson for that last dunk. I'm still laughing at Anderson being a participant in this contest.
razazteca Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Christ, the crowd has been DEAD for the whole night. Sign of the times for the NBA or just the lack of star power for the contests? Charles & Kenny were demanding that Lebron, Kobe, Vince, should of been in this contest.
Mik Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 There were 3 really sweet dunks tonight. Â The "should be Tarheel" Smith's reverse behind the back dunk, Josh Smith's first dunk with K-Mart and Amare with Nash. Good dunk contest.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Josh Smith's dunk was absolutely SICK. I gotta say, this was the most fun I've had watching a dunk contest in years.
The Electrifyer Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Although Josh Smith knows how to dunk really well, I don't think anyone really taught him how to smile.
JustJoe2k5 Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I don't know why the announcers think tonight is going to cause anyone to step up their game tomorrow. Sounds like they are expecting everyone to go all streetball on each other's ass or something. Steve Nash bouncing the ball on his head down court and then bounce it into the net would be cool though.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Wishful thinking most likely, and even if they DID actually try, I still wouldn't watch because it's the same game every year, despite how the "top players" perform.
bobobrazil1984 Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Josh Smith was just nuts out there. Diving over Kenyon Martin... the Wilkins Jersey (great bit of showmanship) then doing an awesome windmill imitation of dominique... then the 360-pump-floatPASTthebasket-backwards-dunk.. that was just crazy!
JustJoe2k5 Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I liked Charles Barkley's quote, "I can't pull for J.R. Smith because he should be a Tarheel right now."
