I liked the quick jab at Justin Timberlake ("Together we are stronger than we would be as individuals. Right, Justin?" "Umm...") That was a jab directed at the other members of the group, who have gone on to do nothing while Timberlake was a huge success and is even getting into blockbuster films now.

The "Sex tape in Eternia sketch" stole the show. Also, the Sniper Squirral cracked me up. Remember, tonight's the final episode of "Sealab 2021" (at least I think it is.)

Mostly because this junkie guy I work with is convinced that the current Michael Jackson is nothing more than a robot and that skit reminded me of him. The squirrel thing was aweomse. Hulk Hogan's "real name" made me laugh, too.

Heh...I thought that actually made it funnier. It was just sort of freaky, hearing that theme as Family Guy was on, and then 10 minutes later hearing it again. I just thought it was..funnier.

Destro and Cobra Commander hocking used cars and cable merchandise, respectively. They even managed to throw in a BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA~! reference!

Gary Floyd Posted May 16, 2005 Author Report Posted May 16, 2005 Tom Goes to the Mayor (Which I seem to be the only person on this board to enjoy) was a mixed bag, though Brian Posehn ("Mr. Show") was funny in it. Also, last night, I saw the premire of "Samurai Champloo", and it already is officially tied with "Cowboy Bebop" (who's creator also did SC) as my favorite anime. Basically, it's a Feudal Japan action/comedy/drama with bits of Akira Kurosawa, Sam Peckinpah, and a Hip-Hop influence and soundtrack. I think it rocks the fucking world.

Except for ones that seem to crash and burn on their pilot eps, they usually give a lot of the shows some time to improve, thankfully. I'm very disappointed MegasXLR is cancelled (not Adult Swim strictly, but still CN). But we're getting American Dad reruns on AS and Winx Club on Toonami's retarded little brother Miguzi! Oh boy.

I thought I was either fucked up in the head, already asleep, or something...that was one weird show. *goes off to download all of the episodes* I also caught Tom Goes to Mayor, and it was pretty odd also.
