Guest barney Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 For the last couple of weeks Big Vito and Ring Of Honor's John Walters have been active in wwe matches, so i'm wondering if they both are "wwe bound" or just used as jobbers to the stars..... Big Vito could work well with Nunzio in a new version of the F.B.I John Walters could make an impact in the cruiserweight division Any news on these guys ? Also do you guys think Frankie Kazarian will do well in wwe ?? I do..
SamoaRowe Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 I'm not sure what John Walter's relationship with WWE is. I saw him wrestle live on an tv taping of Smackdown once (not a dark match or on Velocity, but on Smackdown itself).
pochorenella Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 It's not unheard of for ROH guys to wrestle dark matches or Velocity/Heat matches. I believe Xavier did it while ROH Champ, though I might be wrong on the timeframe here. It doesn't necessarily mean Walters is WWE bound. And I believe this is his only match to date on a WWE ring. As for Big Vito, it's only his second appearence in WWE in two weeks, but no news have come out about wether he's signing or not.
SamoaRowe Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Yes, Xavier did wrestle on Velocity during his ROH title reign. He jobbed to Chuck Palumbo. And the Walters Smackdown match I mentioned in that last post was April 2003, so it's been going on for a while too.

They seemed to make an angle out of what he did to Richards, with Ross alluding to wrestlers not being eager to get in the ring with Masters, which is a neat way to make something out of the fact he's a lug with no skill.

He just seems to be #1 choice for whenever they need a jobber or a Policeman or a Druid or whatever other roles they've stuck him in.

JoeDirt Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 It would be fitting that they'd sign Walters of all the guys on the indy scene, just because he has no charisma and hasn't gotten over whatsoever in ROH...just the type of guy Vince wants to bring in and mold. But yeah, using him against Masters was smart because the RAW babyface jobber roster is only so deep, and so maybe they're giving him a few wins before he runs through Val, Hurricane, Rosey, Rhyno, and maybe Tajiri or Regal.
Enigma Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 I'll never forget Big Vito's story he told on WCW Live once about how when he was doing an enhancement match for the WWF back in the early-90s, he gave some jobber a belly-to-back suplex and when they hit the mat, the jobber just unloaded with diarrhea.
