Will Smith disses Eminem

Recommended Posts

That was a half-decent track. I might have gone with a different beat, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Larry Elder will talk about how Will dissed him because he is a enlightend black man that realizes that racism doesn't exist and that every black person that does is a whiney complainer that doesn't take advantage of the true equality between the races in this country.

Haha, that's Larry Elder for ya, doesn't he call himself the Savior from South Central or something?

Actually, I haven't heard it in years, but was all Eminem said that Will Smith didn't have to curse to sell records but he did so fuck him and fuck you too? Cause that's not really a dis, you know. That's backhandedly saying Will Smith is better than him. And the fuck you was very general.

Eminem said in an interview back in 2000 that Will Smith's speech at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, in which Smith said that he doesn't curse, doesn't rap about drugs, violence, or abuse to women, and is still sucessful, was an insult to him, an insult to Dre, and an insult to the "gender" (that's right he said gender instead of genre) of rap music.

Yup. It's at the beginning of the second verse:

Will Smith don't have to curse in his raps to sell records/Well I do/So fuck him/And fuck you too

It's better than his last one, I think I was one of the few people around who enjoyed his last album though. Has some good tracks, especially like the one featuring Snoop Dogg and the other one with Mary J Blige. He also has some good tracks with just him such as 'Party Starter', 'I Wish I Made That' and 'Could U Love Me'.

Will Smith is an embarassment to music and always has been.

Bull. Fresh Prince was good shit. Jeff was the talent, I'll admit, but he did his share.

I bet they agreed on this "war" to help fix their floundering careers.

Will Smith is an embarassment to music and always has been.

Eminem has ran out of good ideas.

Cause god knows both of their careers are in the shitter, you know with Eminem just releasing another multiplatnium album and Will Smith's movie "Hitch" making boat loads of money.

They are one step from the welfare line.
