Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 The fuck you talking about Will Smith being a good actor on Fresh Prince? He moved his damn lips when other people were saying their lines. That bullshit crying stuff he did at the end? I can't believe anybody bought that shit. And he was playing himself. That was some of the worst acting I've seen. That bullshit crying stuff he did at the end? I can't believe anybody bought that shit. And he was playing himself. That was some of the worst acting I've seen. Well...not in the beganing, But around the college years, Will acting was admirable. Yes, he sucked at the beganing though. The lips moving thing was always funny to see. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 you know what, I never noticed that, but I'm gonna try to spot it now... what is "beganing", by the way?
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 be-gain-ing n. 1. Industry term describing the first or first two season(s) of a television show: The budget was low in the begaining but by season 3 the studio had the confidence to provide more. 2. Slang- meaning "to gain": I begaining ground in my fantasy league Jesus...don't you people know ANYTHING.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 By the way, Indepedence Day was pretty horrible, but I didn't mind Will in it. His punching the alien and saying "Welcome to Earth." was the kind of over the top absurdity that should have pervaded the whole movie. Then it would have been so bad it was good, like Armageddon. Bad Boys and Men In Black are about the only movies of his I like. I haven't seen Ali either. Oh, I also love Wild Wild West but I know it's terrible, so that doesn't count. Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Enemy of the State kicked AYASS and Bad Boys and Bad Boys II continued to kick ass(one more than two, but still...kick assage). I never have gotten the Independance Day hate. I mean yeah, it wasn't slightly realistic and yeah, there were plenty of scenes that just went against the laws of nature(like the fire in the tunnel one... And vivica fox played a stripper without getting naked, and the end suggested that every country needed to have one suicide pilot to take down the things, but still...it was mindless fun. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 the President flying a fighter jet and Randy Quades (sp?) character is what did it in for me...I thought the first half was good when the aliens first invaded and started blowing shit up...it went all downhill from there... Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Well, he was a ex...um...soldier something or other. Of course he could fly a jet. If this country was ever invaded by aliens President Bush could take to a jet in a minute.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 yeah, but it just seemed...i dunno...corny...then the last bit where Randy Quaid flies into the ship, hella corny...

Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 The best was "the ground is cold, as in I have a cold, as in a virus, we need a virus!" The episode where South Park mocked that was gold.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 The best was "the ground is cold, as in I have a cold, as in a virus, we need a virus!" The episode where South Park mocked that was gold. When I first saw that episode, I thought it was shit, but after watching it a couple of times since then, that entire episode is gold. So many parts of it are just awesome
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 As someone who likes Will Smith's music, I can say that I find that song to be shit. I HOPE that is not real. It's terrible. Will Smith shouldn't do battle raps. He should do what he does best: non-threatening rap music for people that don't like rap music. And I liked Indepedence Day too. Carnival 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Will Smith is a great actor, a decent rapper and he didn't write those lyrics. FAKE

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted March 22, 2005 Will is just mad that he never got back at Em until now for being dissed on "The Real Slim Shady" track. Why would he still be mad enough to write a diss five years after the fact?

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Hm. I think the fake lyrics would have been more effective. Still, I liked that better than most of what he's done since switching from Fresh Prince to his given name. Getting the album wouldn't be out of the question... TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 I DL'ed the album and it's surprisingly good. Best I've ever heard him flow and even the lyrics are pretty good for most of it. I'm shocked at how I'm enjoying the CD.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 He wrote that about as much as I did. Sounds good though. But there is no fuckin way he wrote that. Nice ghost writer though.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Tremendously reminiscent of Busta Rhymes' flow on the verses. Don't mistake nice for soft, guys!
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Oh yeah, and I like the fact that it was will smith was the first guy I have heard diss Larry Elder. And Wendy Williams. I would love to punch both of these people in the face repeatedly. Wendy Williams will probably respond with a rumor she "heard" (aka. made up while getting her botox injections) about him having a orgy with Tyson Beckford and Derek Jeter and Vin Diesel. Larry Elder will talk about how Will dissed him because he is a enlightend black man that realizes that racism doesn't exist and that every black person that does is a whiney complainer that doesn't take advantage of the true equality between the races in this country. Goddamn I hate both of them.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 You know, as long as he's using a ghost writer, he shouldn't have addressed Eminem at all, he should have brought in Alfonso Ribeiro and let him do it. Would have been a nice reference and reminiscent of 2Pac "letting his little homies ride on you" (which Eminem directly lifted to dis Everlast).
