Everything was good except the odd current event reference with the whole "congress won't stop me from pulling the plug". Yeah but he did it in a way that made sense. He set up the theme of his promo which was decisions and he executed it perfectly. What was he supposed to do? Come out and put Benoit over? I thought Batista was sick and tired of hearing that shit from HHH, and he did nothing. It was great delivery, no doubt. Awesome delivery. It was like 20 minutes long and it was near-flawless delivery. It was shit content. A good heel doesn't need to bury everyone on the roster to get over. Redundant, buried people unnecessarily, and it accomplished nothing other than reveal that Batista's match would be a lumberjack match. Promos that long do not belong in wrestling. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 um, is this a promo where he uses the supreme court pull the plug thing? i came home, saw '24' had alraedy started (gotta download it later), so switched to RAW and tuned on just as HHH was talking about how hes gonna pull the plug and put the animal down, and then i changed it. it was the same old thing. total RAW time viewed: 2 minutes? thanks for reminding me why i stopped watching Trips!
