Enigma Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Former ECW World Television champion Super Crazy has signed a three year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment last week, according to an article with Box y Lucha in Mexico. PWInsider.com first noted WWE's interest in the former ECW regular in early January. He had been courted for some time by the company, which took a look at him while touring in Japan several months back. Crazy said in the article that he'd like to wrestle for at least another five years and the only downside to signing was that he wouldn't be able to spend as much time in Mexico as he had in the past. Crazy had been working regularly for ZERO-ONE in Japan in recent months. The signing would put him in line to appear at the 6/12 ECW One Night Stand PPV and be reunited with former rivals Yoshihiro Tajiri and Nunzio (formerly Little Guido.) -- PWInsider
Youth N Asia Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Ariba! Let him and Tajiri put on some show stealing matches, pleeeeeease. Don't split the two.
Black Lushus Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 big deal, they'll just dumb down his offense and he'll flounder in obscurity no matter what show he's on...but here's hoping that DOESN'T happen!
Guest curry_man2002 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Super crazy coming to a velocity taping near you!!!
Zack Malibu Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Super Crazy and Psicosis as a rudo team on Smackdown would be teh rule.
Guest MikeSC Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Gee, I didn't see TOO sick of the endless Tajiri/Crazy/Guido matches in ECW. -=Mike
Styles Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinqo, ses, siete, ocho, nueve, diez! I wonder if the WWE fans will pick up on that?
AndrewTS Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinqo, ses, siete, ocho, nueve, diez! I wonder if the WWE fans will pick up on that? Texas, California, eastern PA and NM maybe.
Garth Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Excellent news, I'm excited to hear he's now on the roster. I know in a a few months down the road I'll be annoyed that he's being so badly misused, but for now i'm very pleased. Heres hoping they sign up Juvi as well now.
2GOLD Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 With Velocity gone this fall, what are they going to do with him? If he goes to RAW, who is he going to wrestle? Tijaria is the tag team champion with Regal. I'd be excited about this if I knew the WWE was going to take the handcuffs off the lightweights and let them do what they do best.
Guest MikeSC Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinqo, ses, siete, ocho, nueve, diez! I wonder if the WWE fans will pick up on that? If the ECW fans could, anybody can. -=Mike ...They weren't exactly rocket scientists...

Guest Corino 1000 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Super crazy coming to a velocity taping near you!!! Still man its Super Crazy. If he gets stuck in Velocity at least well get to see Super vs. Rey, Super vs. Tajiri (There matches in ECW were pretty sick and Im 100% sure WWE will go for that shit which means it will get him over) and other great matches.
strummer Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 from Keller: -WWE is in the midst of signing a number of Mexican wrestlers, and while at first it was believed to be due to a desire to add depth to the Cruiserweight Division, it's clear now that it was to build roster depth for a WWE show produced especially for Telemundo, the Spanish-language cable station owned by NBC Universal. WWE, as part of the TV deal announced this week, will have an hour weekly show on Telemundo. Super Crazy is the latest luchador to ink a deal with WWE. Psicosis is also expected to be part of the initial Telemundo show, which presumably will be taped before Smackdown each Tuesday since Velocity is being cancelled this fall.
natey2k4 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 The most shocking thing about this.. isnt that he was signed.. but that he was signed for 3 years..

Even if it's in Spanish I'll make a point to watch this. I'll know what you lucky bastards who get EMLL and AAA on your dishes or whatever feel like.
Guest Shadow Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 I dont even get Telemundo. I don't think.
AndrewTS Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Luckily for Super Crazy, he picked a name that Vince can pronounce and spell correctly. Unfortunately for Super Crazy, Vince will expect him to wrestle exactly like Rey.
Guest Shadow Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Luckily for Super Crazy, he picked a name that Vince can pronounce and spell correctly. Unfortunately for Super Crazy, Vince will expect him to wrestle exactly like Rey. even WCW; who cared about crusiers for awhile, couldn't consistantly spell Psicosis right. Constantly had different spellings, the wweized bastardations will be a highlight to see.

He could have scissor-themed tights
Guest Shadow Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 They can go to the wardrobe closet and pull out Brutus's old outfit.
IWD Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 The most shocking thing about this.. isnt that he was signed.. but that he was signed for 3 years.. Probably a three year contract that gets renewed each year. Jerry Lynn had a similar contract when he signed with WWF in February 2001. Lynn also advised Zach Gowen to check his contract thoroughly. Cheers.

Alas it just won't be the same without Savio Vega.
