If you were a celebrity, would you drink a some random cocktail that some random stranger sent over to you? I sure as hell wouldn't.

 

After I saw Iron Maiden last year Bruce Dickonson came into the bar, and some twat that was there bought him a beer and ran over to him to give it to him (keep in mind he was there with his wife/girlfriend/whatever she was). Dickonson thanked him but didn't drink it & kind of turned his back to the guy as a non-verbal way to say "piss off, I'm here with my girl, not to make small talk with a tool". The guy stormed back to the bar, muttering and swearing.

 

I saw the same kid in the hotel the next day, and he was STILL pissed off and was complaining to strangers about what an a-hole Dickonson was.

 

Moral of the story: don't send a stranger a drink unless you're prepared for it to be unwanted.

Helmsley has said many times that he doesn't drink, and it's been reported many times too. I believe Meltzer's said it at least once.

 

Edge, Christian, and Lance Storm also don't drink.

 

The rest of the roster I'm not sure of, one way or the other. (Well, I know Stratus and Jericho drink (not heavily, of course), but not sure of the rest.)

Afterwards we went to the Sheraton and watched the wrestlers rock up... We went up to the bar and Flair and HHH were sitting around having some dinner so we didn't disturb them, I bought some drinks from the bar and I asked the bartender to send over a double scotch and coke to HHH, as a nice gesture.

 

The waiter took it over, and informed him that I bought him the drink, gave him a wave and HHH waved back with a look of 'who the fuck are you?' but he didn't drink it. The waiter informed me that HHH doesn't drink and I should have asked him for what he wanted if he wanted me to buy him a drink, but HHH gave it to Flair anyway.

 

Moral of the story:

 

You should have just bought Flair the drink in the first place.

What the hell. Why does every wrestler I like play for team sober. Counting HBK and Angle (I'm guessing), there's almost no one for me to look up to.

Last year I saw a pic of him, Flair and Steph in Japan.

 

She had wine and he vodka.

 

When they came to us in Oct. 04, I saw HHH in the elevator, his nose being red like rudolph's, smelling ...and walking like he had 2 bottles of vodka.

Batista and Orton had to help him to get to his room because he couldn't even walk on his own.

I think I've mentioned here before that I saw Randy Orton and Batista at a titty bar here in Omaha once, I believe it was around the end of 2003 when they were both still insignificant...Randy woulda been, what? 22? 23? So of course he acted like a typical guy around that age in a strip joint: loud, obnoxious, drinking heavily, grabbing the girls all over...Batista acted about as cool as his WWE character, just chillin, drinking and watching...they had a little section of the club cornered off with their own little stage and security wouldn't let anyone near it...they signed autographs when the place closed and were very friendly and talkative...and again, Orton was just as annoying as a drunked up man around his age would be, but it was cool to meet them...
