nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Wow, 47. Looks what happens when Daius tries. The Blazers would trade Miles if there was anyone dumb enough to take him. The local media blasts him every chance they get, most of it deserved. I didn't watch most of the game but I'm pretty sure the Blazers intetionally blew it. They were up by 16 when I was watching. Its no secret that they're battling Utah for the lower draft pick. Many games they pull Shareef or whoever is hot at crunch time and lose by a few.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 The Nets are one win away from the playoffs. Insane Yes. Thank God that after all, the New Jersey Nets return to the playoffs. I'll be cheering for Wife-Beatin' Jason Kidd, Selective Slacker Vince Carter, and whoever else plays in the swamp to deliver a season-ending injury to Shaq and gracefully bow out, leaving the Bulls to face a Shaqless Heat in the second round. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Also on Darko, after he wrapped up 3 bad fouls quickly, he kept steady pretty well after that and only got 1 more
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 I know someone said earlier how sick they are of the Nets and I concur. I really hope the Cavs win tonight and the Nets somehow lose. I know the Nets have Kidd and Carter but that whole franchise has this anti heat about it that kills all interest and ratings in the playoffs. I'm amused that the Nuggets won last night considering Portland was up 15 most of that game it seemed.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Also on Darko, after he wrapped up 3 bad fouls quickly, he kept steady pretty well after that and only got 1 more its making me wonder if all he really needed was some consecutive time on the court to warm up, rather than just 4 minute spurts or garbage time, where's all nervous and twitchy. wonder how he'll do in the last game (assuming LB starts him again which he should since its a meaningless game). SOunds like he started out as the darko we all know and... uh, just know. once he logged some playing time he got going.
The Electrifyer 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Hopefully now that the Bulls have their spot secure, they'll sit a few guys tomorrow and allow the Pacers to secure the 6 seed. From: http://www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/cst-spt-bull201.html "Perhaps the only concern for the Bulls following the game was Tyson Chandler's health. The power forward suffered a sprained left ankle when he landed on the foot of New York's Trevor Ariza in the fourth quarter. (...) His status for tonight's game at Indiana is uncertain, but he may be held out as a precaution, considering the game is meaningless." You're welcome, alf. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Vince goes down with injury. I think he's back. Go Sixers, Bulls, Celtics, and Cavs tonight! Prediction: Sixers, Pacers, Nets, Cavs win.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 I love how theyre televising the big jumbotron and AC/DC and the big homecrowd hoopla for the Pacers like the World Champs are getting introduced. Jeez, its the friggin Pacers.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Cleveland is up by 15, while New Jersey is down 11 at the half. The Sixers are cruising to victory. If the Sixers win and Pacers lose, do the Sixers get the 6th seed?
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Yeah since the Sixers won the season series against Indiana, they'd get the #6 seed if they win and the Pacers lose tonight
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 And the Pacers are down 12 early. Look out, the Nets just made a big run. Down 6 3rd.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Do you realize how the Sixer/Cavs/Nets/Pacers mess could either make the East Playoffs crap or fun? Scenario 1: Sixers Vs. Pistons - Pistons roll over Sixers. Pacers Vs. Celtics - This screams boring to me. Nets Vs. Miami - Maybe Nets win a game...Miami rolls. Scenario 2: Sixers Vs. Celtics - Much better matchup, 50/50 maybe. Pacers Vs. Pistons - BRAWL REMATCH Miami Vs. Cleveland - Miami still rolls, but Lebron gets 1st playoff chance...maybe shows off some magic. Plus a fun Bulls/Wiz matchup and the great West matchups. I hope for Scenario 2.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 BIG DOG UPDATE: in 28 minutes Glenn Robinson lead the Spurs in points with 16 (6-13), had 3 assist and 3 rebounds. Of course the Spurs lost in another major blowout in a game that really did not matter but a loss is still a loss....the final score was 73-95.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted April 22, 2005 You know Stern would rather rig it for us... ``It is clear that the Lakers are the team to love or hate, and a playoffs without the Lakers are going to draw lower (ratings) than one with them,'' commissioner David Stern said. ``But aside from that, there are some interesting and exciting teams that are generating coverage, and a lot of young players and player combinations that people are talking about. EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 Wow, only 13 wins for the Hawks. I knew they were bad, but Jesus. John Hollinger said it best before the season. The Hawks thought they could get better if they cleared out cap space, and thus dealt Abdur-Rahim and Ratliff. The problem is, they couldn't get players any better than those two. So the whole exercise is a wash.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Wow, only 13 wins for the Hawks. The Hawks were an expansion team. The only players they brought back from last year were Boris Diaw and Chris Crawford(and Chris missed the whole year). They had 11 new players on the roster, Josh Smith, Josh Childress, Donta Smith, and Royal Ivey were all rookies getting alot of minutes, with Antoine Walker and Al Harrington being the only guys with experience at being good in the league. 13 wins is about what I expect out of a expansion team. Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Well, Charlotte got 18 wins (same as the old Charlotte team, the Hornets), 5 more than Atlanta, and they were a true expansion team. I mean, who did they have besides Emeka Okafor? As for the Hawks, though, Josh Smith was badass in the dunk contest. Bring back Dominique Wilkins, Steve Smith, and Spud Webb!
