Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Not new versions, just shows you haven't seen on tv in years. Since it's an athletic competion. ESPN Classic should show the old Battle of the Network Stars.
The Ill One 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 I grew up on Underdog. I have yet to have seen the sex tape 'ween him and Sweet Polly Purebreed (...) But seriously, I was nearly crying in laughter when he showed up on the Capital One commercial. Oh and Mighty Max. Another favorite. Nostalagia's fun. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Mystery Science Theater 3000. I'm guessing it can be considered old now. Last episode was about 5 years ago. Get someone really rich (Turner, maybe) to buy the rights to all the movies shown, then put the show in syndication!

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Mystery Science Theater 3000. Good choice. Good Times would be another good choice. Know days with every show on DVD, it's alot less likely we'll see these shows back on regular tv.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Silk Stalkings (the old old episodes, not that new duo, Chris and Rita dammit) Thunder in Paradise Oh, and L.A Heat. The buddy cop show which in every episode, the two of them would be in a car that flipped over and they would toss a quip at each other about the accident. All of these shows should be on DVD EDIT: Holy crap! Silk Stalkings IS on DVD. Ok, now that is just awesome.

Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 The old Nickelodean (sp?) shows. (Fox too I think) Shows like, Are you Afraid of the Dark, and Goosebumps, also Eerie Indiana. And there was this other show with a similar concept on the same channels, where I can't remember the name, but it was like, based around a lighthouse I think? GreatWhiteNope 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Fifteen Salute Your Shorts Wild & Crazy Kids What Would You Do? Welcome Freshmen The Adventures Of Pete & Pete I think Nickelodeon should make its GAS digital cable channel into a Classic Nickelodeon channel. Never thought I'd say this but - I'm sick of watching the old Nick game show reruns. When I first got digital cable I watched it every day, though.

Positively Kanyon 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 And there was this other show with a similar concept on the same channels, where I can't remember the name, but it was like, based around a lighthouse I think? It's called "Round The Twist" which was an Australian show based on the books written by Paul Jennings. There was a remake if I recall, but it wasn't as successful as the first series... Taker666 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Batman: the animated series. that was such a kickass show. it was dark, pretty violent and it pretty much protrayed batman the way he should be. The new Batman show they have now is absolute shit.

Never thought I'd say this but - I'm sick of watching the old Nick game show reruns. When I first got digital cable I watched it every day, though. Me too. I wonder who exactly they're trying to appeal to with the GAS channel - I can't imagine too many of today's kids are really big on the incredibly outdated Double Dare and Finders Keepers. It's a nostalgia channel and it's amazing Viacom hasn't picked up on that yet.

They recently picked up Nicktoons so there's always hope for us satellite people.
