Enigma Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 WWE accidentally released a house show line-up for next month with Booker T listed as U.S. champion. The last time they did that, with Paul London listed as cruiserweight champ, the title change happened, so make of that what you will. -- Dave Meltzer/WrestlingObserver.com
Youth N Asia Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 Great, bad enough he's moving in suck slow motion, bad enough that he's got his wife on Smackdown, and now he's got a reason to be on even more.

Brett Favre Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 Change the title. Add Orlando Jordan vs. Booker T to that next PPV card. And yeah, he's hitting that.
Guest Hass of Pain Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 If it will keep Booker T out of the World Title scene, I am all for it.
Youth N Asia Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I'm pretty sure that's his ex-nitro girl wife...isn't it?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 ALREADY A FUCKING THREAD WITH THIS. Plus, don't post spoilers IN THE THREAD TITLE. Please move this thread to like "Site Feedback" or somewhere else no one will go.
Guest Shadow Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 They didn't say when. It's no different from when a thread is started about any other "future house show lineup cards reveals..."
Taker666 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I rather they had Rey Mysterio Vs Orlando Jordon for the US tite at Judgement Day.
Youth N Asia Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I'd rather have Jordan gets locked outside of the building for Judgement day
Guest Tjhe CyNick Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I would think they will do either Rey vs Eddie at Judgment Day or a tag title match with them, so they can do the official split. Booker is a logical choice for US champ. I'd like to see it back on Carlito and have him and Rey fued for it.

Slickster Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 This will be his 3rd run as US champ (beat Rick Steiner for it in 3/2001 and won a battle royal for it in 7/2004).
Enigma Posted April 17, 2005 Author Report Posted April 17, 2005 ALREADY A FUCKING THREAD WITH THIS. Plus, don't post spoilers IN THE THREAD TITLE. Please move this thread to like "Site Feedback" or somewhere else no one will go. Actually, there is not a thread about this anywhere. And it's not a spoiler unless it's actually happened. And it hasn't happened yet. So it's not a spoiler. WWE always reserves the option to change their plans. Thank you, drive through, and please calm the fuck down.

I don't care what they claim as the lineage of the US title, this is not to be put along the WCW title with the same name

iggymcfly Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 Well considering that he actually brought the belt with him to the WWF, there's no way that you can avoid counting the reign. Even if you only count the reign as starting after KOR, he still held the title.
Guest jm29195 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 Surely they've got to Booker face Angle at the next SD ppv, that's what it seems like to me- JBL vs Cena, Booker vs Angle, Guerrero vs Mysterio, don't know what the plan is with Show though, any thoughts.... I'd imagine Angle/Booker would be ok judging by their previous 01 efforts....
algrim Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I read somewhere that they were planning a Big Show/ Heidenreich program. Maybe somebody can corroborate this.

Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Maybe Big Show doesn't like blowing farts out his asshole.

Somebody's a little too touchy about Smackdown. He's not bad, Jesus. If it will keep Booker T out of the World Title scene, I am all for it. I'm not really seeing the problem with keeping him in the main event scene. Shouldn't we in theory have many people going for the world title? He's no worse than someone like Big Show.

Orlando's heel, Carlito's heel. I got no problem putting the belt back on Carlito, but I think it'd be better if he wins it off an established worker like Booker T. Have Book enter into a short program with Jordan, then move into a Booker / Carlito program with Booker transitioning the title onto CCC.

Now that's cool! ... I'm quickly jumping on the Carlito bandwagon. I wasn't too fond of him at first, when he won the US belt in his first "official" match, but he's really grown on me in the last couple of months . . and with a little more ring-work and a steady push, I could see a legit run at the WWE title in his future by year's end.

Guest CronoT Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Maybe Big Show doesn't like blowing farts out his asshole. Or maybe Heidenreich doesn't want to be the bitch. As for a Heidenreich/Big Show fued, I couldn't give a shit about it, even if I tried.

iggymcfly Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 That was the Intercontinental Title. Since I haven't followed Smackdown, I assumed that Booker won the US belt as well sometime this summer since he was on Smackdown in July of this year.

Christian won the IC title @ Judgement Day 2003, and then lost it to Booker on RAW about 2 months later. Booker T won the US title in an 8 man elimination match in July 2004, and then lost it to Cena at No Mercy 2004.
